Objective: To analyze the expression of histidine phosphatase LHPP in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues,to explore the relationship between the expression of LHPP and the clinical and pathological characteristics of NSCLC.As well as the study of the mechanism,it lays the foundation and provides strong evidence for patients' prognosis and targeted therapy. Methods: This experiment was performed with the approval of the ethics committee of China Medical University.Collected tissues from 125 NSCLC patients who underwent pulmonary segment or lobectomy in the Department of Pathology, the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2017 to August 2018,including cancerous tissue, normal adjacent tissues, and their clinical data Immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expression of LHPP in NSCLC tissues;the relationship between the expression of LHPP and the clinicopathological characteristics of patients was analyzed. The age, sex, drinking history, smoking history, pathological classification, degree of differentiation, primary tumor size, lymph node status, clinical stage,Ki67 and other clinical and pathological data were collected from 125 NSCLC patients, and the LHPP expression level and each Relationship between clinicopathological parameters.SPSS 22.0 statistical software package was used for statistical analysis of experimental data.Chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of LHPP and the clinical pathological characteristics of NSCLC.Results: 1.The expression of histidine phosphatase LHPP in tumor tissues of NSCLC patients was significantly lower than that in normal tissues adjacent to the cancer. The positive expression rate in normal adjacent tissues was 91.2%(114/125),while the positive expression rate in NSCLC was only 32%(40/125),and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).The relationship between the expression of histidine phosphatase LHPP in NSCLC and clinicopathological characteristics.2.1 The expression of histidine phosphatase LHPP and the degree of differentiation of patients with NSCLC(P = 0.003),typing(P = 0.044),lymph node metastasis(P = 0.048),TNM stage(P =0.049),and expression of Ki67(P = 0.005)related.2.2 The expression of histidine phosphatase LHPP has no significant correlation with gender, age, smoking history, drinking history, and primary tumor size in patients with NSCLC.Conclusion: 1.The expression of LHPP in tumor tissues of NSCLC patients was significantly lower than that in the normal adjacent tissues, suggesting that the occurrence and development of NSCLC may be related to the down-regulation of LHPP.2.The expression level of LHPP is related to the degree of tumor tissue differentiation, typing, lymph node metastasis,TNM staging, and Ki67 expression in patients with NSCLC,suggesting that the expression of LHPP may inhibit the growth, deterioration, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells, becoming a diagnosis and target New indicators for treatment and prognosis.3.LHPP may be a tumor suppressor in NSCLC.
