ObjectiveThere is a growing younger trend of cervical spondylopathy with the change of labor and life style, which has a great trouble of work and life for the people. Therefore, It is a great realistic significance to know how to prevent and treat the cervical spondylopathy. The clinical research methods and statistical methods of data were adopted in the project. Evaluating the effects by visual analogue scale(VAS), the simplified MCGill scale and the cervical spine dysfunction index (NDI) questionnaire. Observing the clinical effects of meridian pricking blood methods to treat the cervical spondylopathy, evaluating the effects of the treatment of meridian pricking blood methods in improving pain.clinical symptoms, signs and the effect of daily living of patients in Cervical spondylosis objectively to evaluate the scientific and effectiveness of the treatment of cervical spondylosis scientifically, and provide a convenient and effective treatment for the cervical spondylosis.MethodsThe research subjects were selected from the patients who got treatment in acupuncture department of Guangdong second traditional chinese medicine hospital during January 2015 to January 2016,Adopting the randomized controlled clinical research methods. The patients were divided into treatment group (the treatment group accepted the meridian pricking blood treatment) and control group (the control group accepted conventional acupuncture treatment). each group of 30 cases. while 3 times a week, once every other day, evaluating the effects after 2 weeks. The effects of the two groups was evaluated by visual analogue scale(VAS) before and after the one treatment. After the end of the treatment, evaluating the effects by visual analogue scale (VAS), Simplified McGill scale and cervical spine dysfunction index (NDI) questionnaire.Results1.Before the treatment, comparing 2 groups in age, gender, the course of disease, VAS score, simplified MCGill pain questionnaire and cervical spine dysfunction index(NDI) questionnaire score, the difference between the treatment group and the control group has no statistical significance (P>0.5), There are comparability of baseline characteristics in two groups.2. After 1 times of treatment, compared with before the treatment in 2 groups, VAS score in one group were significantly different (P<0.01, P<0.05).It is showed all of two treatments had a good immediate analgesic effect, while the meridian pricking blood group was better than the conventional acupuncture group. After all the treatment, compared with before the treatment, visual analogue scale (VAS)、simplified MCGill pain questionnaire and cervical spine dysfunction index(NDI) questionnaire score of the two groups were significantly different (P<0.01, P<0.05), It is suggested that the meridian pricking blood therapy and the conventional acupuncture treatment can effectively relieve the symptoms, signs and the activities of daily living, and the former is superior to the latter.3.After the treatment, the total effective rate of the meridian pricking blood group was 96.6%, including 22cured,7 improved and 1 ineffective;while the total effective rate of the conventional acupuncture group was 86.6%, including 16 cured,10 improved and 4 ineffective. There are statistical significance in total efficiency by the rank sum test(P<0.05). The results showed that the clinical efficacy of the meridian pricking blood group were better than the conventional acupuncture group.ConclusionBoth the meridian pricking blood therapy and the conventional acupuncture treatment could relieve the symptoms, signs and the activities of daily living of patients with cervical spondylopathy, but the meridian pricking blood therapy was superior to the conventional acupuncture treatment in the immediate analgesic effect and the overall effect...
