Objective: To observe the Tuina by far end meridian combined with Muscle Energy Technique(MET)in the treatment of Cervical Spondylosis of Neck type(CSN).For the future clinical development of this type of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rehabilitation massage manipulation in the treatment of cervical spondylosis to provide reference. Methods:The 90 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into groups A,B and C,with 30 patients in each group.Group A was treated with the Tuina combined with MET;Group B received the Tuina treatment;Group C received MET treatment.Compare three groups of Visual Analogue Scale Score(VAS),Neck Disturbance Index(NDI),and after cervical anteflexion, stretch, the left side of the bend, the right side of the bend, rotate, right, left,a total of six direction of Active Motion(AROM),three times in the early, middle and late rehabilitation evaluation(i.e.,before treatment,1 month after the end of the course and course of treatment)before and after the change of the situation. The overall clinical efficacy and recovery rate of the three groups were compared.Results:1.Efficacy comparison: after the course of treatment, there was no significant difference in the overall clinical efficacy between the three groups(P >0.05);Comparison of the three groups' cure rate rate and significant efficiency: the cure rate rate and significant efficiency of group A was significantly better than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).2.Comparison of VAS before and after treatment: compared with before treatment,VAS in the three groups significantly decreased after the course of treatment and 1 month after the course of treatment(P <0.05).The decrease of group A was better than that of group B and group C(P <0.05).3.Comparison of NDI before and after treatment: compared with before treatment,NDI after the course of treatment and 1 month after the course of treatment in the three groups all showed significant decrease(P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference in the degree of decline between the three groups(P >0.05).4.Comparison of cervical anterior flexion/posterior extension AROM before and after treatment: compared with before treatment,AROM increased after treatment and 1 month after treatment in the three groups(P <0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference in the degree of elevation between the three groups(P >0.05).5.Comparison of cervical lateral flexion/rotation AROM before andafter treatment: compared with before treatment,AROM increased after treatment and 1 month after treatment in the three groups(P<0.05).Moreover,the increase of group A was better than that of group B and group C(P <0.05),while there was no significant difference between group B and group C(P >0.05).Conclusion:1.The combined effect of the Tuina and MET was better than that of the Tuina and MET alone.2.The Tuina,MET,and the Tuina combined with MET can significantly relieve pain, reduce the index of cervical disorders, and increase the range of motion of the cervical active joints.3.The Tuina combined with MET is superior to the Tuina and MET in relieving CSN pain, increasing lateral flexion, and rotating AROM.
