Observe The Clinical Effect Of Golden Throat Tablets For The Treatment Of Chronic Hoarseness With Blood Stasis And Phlegm Coagulation

ObjectivesGolden Throat tablets are preparations of our hospital, which are used for more than 20 years in clinical application. The previous research about Golden Throat tablets almost based on the basic research, while the clinical studies are less. The study in which the control experiment with Jinsangsanjie capsules was established, through compared the change of chronic hoarseness’ symptoms and signs and some patients’results of voice measurement with computers before and after treatment was in order to explore and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of golden throat tablets in the treatment of chronic hoarseness with blood stasis and phlegm coagulation. According to it, the clinical scheme of Golden Throat tablets in the treatment of chronic hoarseness could be formed.MethodsThe patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group taking Golden Throat tablets and the control group taking Jinsangsanjie capsules. They were both treated for 4 weeks and followed up every 2 weeks. We recorded the symptoms and signs of the patients before and during the treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks faithfully. Voice measurement with computers should be done for some patients before and during the treatment for 4 weeks. Telephone follow-ups were made to record the symptoms of patients in 1 month after the treatment. To observe the curative effect of the two groups, the methods of the self-comparison between before and after treatment and the comparison between the two groups were adopted. Then we came to conclusion.Results(1)There were 72 cases that were brought into the statistical analysis in the study, including 41 cases in the treatment group and 31 cases in the control group. The two groups at the same baseline before treatment that made them comparable.(2)In the self-comparison:most of symptoms, signs and voice parameters of the two groups were improved after treatment. It was pointed out that the cough symptoms of the two groups were neither improved obviously. Further improvement of the dry pharynx symptoms of the treatment group and expectoration symptoms of the control group were caught in 1 months after the treatment.(3)the comparison between the two groups: ①Comparison of the overall effect:the results showed that the cured, markedly effective, effective, invalid cases of the treatment group were 6,12,17,6 while they were 1,3, 18,9 in the control group. The total effective rate of the two groups were 85.37%and 70.97%. The overall effect of Golden Throat tablets was better than Jinsangsanjie capsules that was proved by the rank sum test which showed there was statistical difference between the two groups. ②Comparison on specific symptoms and signs:the treatment group was better than the control group at the improvement of hoarseness and vocal cords’color and edge but the others had no statistical difference. And the decrease in the total score of symptoms and signs in the treatment group was better than that in the control group. ③It had no statistical difference between the two groups on the comparison about the improvement of voice parameters and the long-term curative effect.ConeIusionsGolden Throat tablets in the treatment of chronic hoarseness with blood stasis and phlegm coagulation had some advantages in efficacy that was safety and it was worthy of clinical application.
