| Background of the researchChronic hoarseness is the general term for this type of voice disease that hoarse voice recurrent,difficult to heal.It is mainly hoarseness,with a sense of contraction,foreign body sensation,dryness,itching and other symptoms,often caused by improper use of throat,excessive use of throat,gas,dust,tobacco and alcohol stimulation,as well as the throat adjacent parts of the disease spread and other reasons.It can be seen that women are slightly more than men in all age groups,and the service sector is more common.In modern medicine,chronic laryngitis,vocal nodules,vocal polyps,laryngeal muscle weakness,vocal cord paralysis,precancerous lesions and other diseases can be referred to this disease for treatment of TCM syndrome differentiation.Western medicine for this type of throat disease treatment more use of making the sound rest,voice training,anti-inflammatory,local physical treatment and other methods of symptomatic treatment.Additionally,if in the middle and late,hypertrophic hyperplasia of the surgery.In recent years,the domestic began to focus on vocal sound training method which has better curative effect.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment in accordance with the principle of syndrome differentiation,prescription mainly to supplementing qi and nourishing yin,invigorate spleen and replenish qi,promoting qi circulation to remove meridian obstruction,activate blood and resolve stasis,clearing heat and resolving phlegm,or with acupuncture and massage guidance,Chinese medicine atomization,fumigation of traditional Chinese medicine,local acupoint electric stimulation and other characteristic therapies,the effect is remarkable.Purpose of the researchTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of herbal extract of Chinese medicine of chronic hoarseness,improve the quality of voice and tap the market potential of herbal extract of Chinese medicine for throat diseases,and provide some reference for future research and popularization.Methods of the research40 cases from June 1,2016 to February 28,2017 at the first affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine the"hoarseness" is the main complaint and syndrome is the chronic hoarseness of blood stasis phlegm coagulation(mainly includes chronic laryngitis,vocal nodules,vocal cords polyp,vocal cord inflammation,vocal cord benign lesion surgery)patients,according to the random distribution method,assigned to herbal extract of Chinese medicine of chronic hoarseness side + Voice Training Group(treatment group),Voice Training Group(control group);Observing the clinical efficacy of herbal extract of Chinese medicine of chronic hoarseness combined with voice training in the treatment of blood stasis phlegm coagulation of chronic hoarseness,and compared with the simple voice Training group,the difference of curative effect between the two groups.The total duration of treatment was 8 weeks,requiring patients to score the relevant examinations and questionnaires before and after 8 weeks' treatment.Comparative analysis of the two groups of patients before the start of treatment,8 weeks after the treatment of TCM symptom evaluation Scale integration,subjective the Voice Handicap Index-10(VHI-10),Voice analysis parameters(F0,Jitter,Shimmer,NHR),Maximum persistent time(MPT),Total hoarseness(g)score and review fiber electron laryngoscope,to find out about the symptoms of patients after treatment improvement,efficiency,voice quality,vocal cords lesions,pharyngeal mucosa changes.The data were collated into SPSS 22.0 for statistical processing,and T-Test was adopted for variables conforming to normal distribution,otherwise the Nonparametric test was adopted.research resultsVoice training,combination of herbal extract of Chinese medicine of chronic hoarseness and voice training both have a positive therapeutic effect on the blood stasis and phlegm-coagulation of chronic hoarseness.Compared with the control group,the advantages of the treatment group were mainly manifested in the improvement of the symptoms of TCM,the time of hoarseness was shorter and the statistically significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).Therefore,it is proved that the combination of herbal extract of Chinese medicine and voice training can improve the vocal quality and improve the curative effect.Conclusion of the researchHerbal extract of Chinese medicine is not only easy to take,but also more significant effect and more obvious advantages in the combination of voice training in the treatment of blood stasis phlegm coagulation of chronic hoarseness,worth promoting in the treatment of throat diseases. |
