| Objective:Our study aims to observe the difference of clinical efficacy between salt partitioned moxibustion in combination with pelvic floor electrical stimulation(PES) and biofeedback electric stimulation on stress_urinary in continence of kidney--Yang deficiencyMethod:Our study selected 80 females with stress_urinary in continence of kidney-Yang deficiency as objects, who met the inlusion criteria. The 80 patients were divided into two groups randomly, each group 40 patients. The control group treated with biofeedback electric stimulation, the test group treated with salt partitioned moxibustion combined with pelvic floor electrical stimulation(PES). Treatment course of two group:1 treatment every other day,3 times per week, six weeks a course of treatment, a total of 6 weeks.Therapeutic effect assessment index:subjective urinary incontinence score, urinary incontinence Gullen indexing, kidney-Yang deficiency symptom score, urinary incontinence quality of life assessment scale (I-QOL), 72h urinary incontinence, the total efficiency.Results:1. The study was a randomized controlled trial, the study pre-treatment age, body mass index (BMI), duration, motherhood, I-QOL score, subjective scoring incontinence, urinary incontinence Gullen indexing deficiency symptom score randomly balanced within the two groups were comparable.2. The quality of life score (I-QOL):The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)on quality of life score (I-QOL)of intra-group comparison between two groups before and after treatment, Two groups improved patients’ quality of life. End of treatment quality of life score of the experimental group (84.14±11.82) was significantly higher to control group (77.28±9.228), P<0.05; The experimental group arebetter than the control group in the quality of life.3. Incontinence Gullen indexing changes:The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)on incontinence Gullen indexing of intra-group comparison between two groups before and after treatment. It revealed two treatments reduced the urinary leakage.1 degree leakage of urine,2 degrees leakage of urine,3 degrees leakage of urine,4 degrees leakage of urine rates were 44.12%,41.18%,14.71% and 0% in the control group before the treatment, while the rate after the treatment were 64.70%, 26.47%,8.8%,0%;1 degree leakage of urine,2 degrees leakage of urine,3 degrees leakage of urine,4 degrees leakage of urine rate were 50%,41.67%,, 8.33%,0% in the test group before the treatment, the rates were 69.44%,27.78%, 2.78%,0% after the treatment, We did the intra-group comparison after the treatment, the difference was not statistically significant. There were no difference between the two groups.4. Subjective incontinence scoring:The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)on subjective incontinence scoring of intra-group comparison between two groups before and after treatment It showed two treatments reduced urinary leakage. The 0 points,1 point,2 points,3 points, 4 points rates before the treatment in the control group were 0%,14.71%, 64.71%,20.59%,0%,2.94%, after treatment, they were 17.65%,58.82%,20.59%, 0%; The 0 points,1 point,2 points,3 points,4 points scores before the treatment in the wree0%,5.56%,66.67%,27.78% and 0%, after the treatment were 5.56%,22.22%,58.33%,19.44%,0%. The comparision among the groups after the treatment showed, no diffrence.5.72h urinary incontinence frequency:The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)on 72h urinary incontinence frequency of intra-group comparison between two groups before and after treatment.72h urinary incontinence frequency (3.38±6.05) of the test group was significantly lower than the control group (7.38±6.26), P<0.05 in the end of the treatment, the test group were better than the control group in this index.6. kidney-Yang deficiency scores:The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)on kidney-Yang deficiency scores of intra-group comparison between two groups before and after treatment. The kidney-Yang deficiency scores in the control group were (2.59±0.925) points in the end of the treatment, theexperimental group were (4.35±2.10) points, (P<0.05).7. The total effect:There were 15 patients were on the mend,6 patients got recovery in the control group,21 patients were on the mend,10 patients got recovery in the test group, the total effective rate was 86.1%.Conclusion:1. Both treatments are effective for female stress urinary incontinence.2. Salt separated moxibustion combined with pelvic floor electrical stimulation(PES) shows better effect than biofeedback electrical stimulation in 72h urinary incontinence frequency, Quality of Life Assessment Scale (I-QOL), kidney-Yang deficiency symptom scores for female stress urinary incontinence(SUI).There were no significant difference in urinary leakage level between the two groups.3. Salt were used as transmitter in Shenque(CV 8) moxibustion which called salt partitioned moxibustion, it combined salt, Chinese mugwort, acupoint, this method can warmly nourishing Yangqi, culture kidney and strengthen the foundation of power. |
