| ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect in female patients with kidney yang deficiency type stress urinary incontinence treated with local electric acupuncture and acupuncture diagnostic acupoint selection.MethodsOur research has accumulated and confirmed with40patients with kidney yang deficiency type stress urinary incontinence and have divided the patients into experimental group and control group (n=20) according to complete randomized grouping method.Control group was selected with the following acupoints:Zhong liao and Hui Yang,experimental group was selected with the following acupoints:Zhong liao,Hui Yang, Shenshu and Guan Yuan,two groups were treated by the existing treatment plan,each acupoint were required with local deqi stimulation sensation.Transverse connect electro-acupuncture pole at the top of the needle in Zhong Liao and Hui Yang acupoints.The parameter in electro-acupuncture:density wave, frequency of50HZ,strength of the electric current1mA-5mA,gradually increase the strength of the electric current which is suitable for the patients.Retain the needle for30minutes each time, once each other day, total of6weeks of treatment.Clinical observation indicators Main observation index:1h urine pad test to observe the change in the leakage of urine (2,4,6weeks); Secondary observation index:72h number of incontinence (record in day4,5,6of the2nd4th6th week), Level of influence in the daily life of the patients (0and6weeks), urine leakage severity changes (0and6weeks), changes in the kidney Yang deficiency symptoms (evaluate on the0and6weeks).Results1.1hours urine pad test:After the treatment on the control group, the leakage of urine in1hours urine pad test have reduced when compared to before treatment (28.24±2.65)g;After the treatment on the treatment group, the leakage of urine in1hours urine pad test have reduced when compared to before treatment (31.25±3.32) g,2groups have been carried out with comparison in between groups before and after treatment respectively,and the difference is statistically significant, p<0.01.2. Number of urinary incontinence in72hours:after the treatment of the control group,the number of urinary incontinence in72hours got less than before treatment (2.60±0.32) times; after the treatment of the treatment group, the number of urinary incontinence in72hours got less than before treatment (4.15±0.39),2groups have been carried out with comparison in between groups before and after treatment respectively,and the difference is statistically significant, p<0.01.3. Rating on the degree of impact on daily life:After the treatment on the control group, rating on the degree of impact on daily life have been reduced than before treatment (2.40±0.29);After the treatment on the treatment group, rating on the degree of impact on daily life have been reduced than before treatment (3.20±0.60) points,2groups have been carried out with comparison in between groups before and after treatment respectively,and the difference is statistically significant,p<0.01.4. The level of the urine leakage:control group before treatment without leakage,slight leakage,medium leakage,severe leakage rate were0%,10%,55%,35%respectively, and after treatment were15%,55%,0%,30%; treatment group before treatment,no leakage,slight leakage,moderate leakage,severe leakage rate were0%,10%,65%,25%respectively and after treatment were45%,40%,0%,15%,2groups have been carried out with comparison in between groups before and after treatment respectively,and the difference is statistically significant,p<0.01.5. Score changes in the kidney yang deficiency symptom:after the treatment of the control group,the score changes in the kidney yang deficiency symptoms have been reduced than before treatment (9.1±0.77);after the treatment of the treatment group,the score changes in the kidney yang deficiency symptoms have been reduced than before treatment (11.4±0.75),2groups have been carried out with comparison in between groups before and after treatment respectively, and the difference is statistically significant,p<0.01.6. The total effective rate in the control group was70%;and the total effective rate in the treatment group was85%.Conclusion1. Local electro-acupuncture with acupuncture diagnostic acupoint selection found effect in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence. It had shown significant improvements in1hours urine pad test, number of urinary incontinence in72hours,rating in the degree of impact on daily life,the level of the urine leakage,score changes in the kidney yang deficiency symptom than the control group;But both groups did not show significant difference in the level of the urine leakage.2. This scheme is safe and effective.And it is the ideal treatment plan of kidney Yang deficiency syndrome of female stress urinary incontinence. |
