Esophageal Cancer TCM Types And Influencing Factors

Background:Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in human, the incidence rate in our country is also high, Jiangsu is one of the regions with a high incidence of esophageal cancer, esophageal cancer treatment include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is an important component of comprehensive therapy for esophageal cancer, so in Jiangsu; esophageal cancer syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) analysis and the influencing factors, with an important guiding significance.Objective:to analyze the distribution and influencing factors of TCM Syndromes of esophageal cancer by retrospective clinical study.Object and methods:June 2014 and 2015 August in Jiangsu Province Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, oncology, pathology diagnosis for esophageal cancer and chemotherapy in hospitalized patients. According to the literature research, self-designed questionnaire information, study esophageal cancer syndromes distribution; clinical syndrome type as the object, to tumor biological characteristics, laboratory indicators and personal data as the variable of the influence factors of TCM syndrome type of esophageal cancer.Results:(1) Patients with esophageal carcinoma before and after radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Tanqi stasis type decreased from 34.2% to 10%, blood stasis and phlegm stagnation is reduced from 37.5% to 30%, yin deficiency heat toxin type increased from 25.8% to 40%, Qi Yang micro increased from 2.5% to 20% of patients, TCM syndromes in comparison with significant difference (x2=51.76, P=0.000). (2) By multinomial Logistic regression analysis showed that esophageal cancer and chemotherapy related factors for pathological staging, KPS score, bone marrow suppression and primary site indexing; related factors and chemotherapy for pathological staging, KPS score and primary part (P<0.05). (3) With independent sample T test, esophageal cancer chemotherapy and syndrome distribution in the white blood cell count, hemoglobin and CY211, carcinoembryonic antigen, carbohydrate antigen 199, the differences of cholinesterase and total protein (P<0.05) on these indicators.Conclusion:The pathological stage, KPS score, bone marrow suppression and indexing primary site is the factor of esophageal cancer syndrome differentiation type of white blood cell count, hemoglobin, and CY211, carcinoembryonic antigen, carbohydrate antigen 199, cholinesterase and total protein these indicators differ in different syndromes, it has a certain value in the diagnosis of esophageal cancer.
