Objective:To explore the relationship between traditional chinese medicine syndrome type and the related factors of sleep disorder.The pediatric sleep disorder was summarized to better guide the clinical syndrome differentiation of children with sleep disorder by Statistical Product and Service Solutions.Method:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study,we selected the children who went to the outpatient of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and who met the inclusion criteria from 25 August 2020 to 30 November 2021.Questionnaire containing data of traditional chinese medicine was conducted.The symptom indicators of 404 children were entered into the computer for cluster analysis.According to the results,clinical experts determined the name of the traditional chinese medicine Syndrome type according to their experience.Result:1.General situation analysis:Boys are more common in sleep disorder,and the age of onset is concentrated in 1-3 years old,followed by 4-7 years old.The common trigger is drinking milk before bed,followed by poor mood,and common comorbidities are repeated illness and upper respiratory disease.2.Symptoms distribution:Among the 404 children with sleep disorders included in this study,the main symptoms with a frequency of more than 20%were more sleep turning over,difficulty in falling sleep,less sleep time,easy to wake up,night crow,quilt pedal and prone lying.The frequency of concurrent disease in more than 20%are outdoor activities,poor appetite,picky eating,hyperactivity,heavy tone,irritable temper,sweating,outdoor activity time,dry stool,sitting for a long time,drinking milk before bed,red tongue,thin white moss slightly greasy and deep and slow pulse,a total of 15 indicators.3.Cluster analysis of each traditional chinese medicine syndrome type and the main syndrome differentiation content:Syndrome of heart-liver fire(17.67%):Main disease:sleep dream,sleep rhythm reversed,sleep snoring and mouth opening;Accompanied symptom:plain appetite,picky food,irritable Splenic deficiency and liver hyperactivity syndrome(25.82%):Main disease:easy to wake up,night crying,wake up or with a start;Accompanied symptom:plain outdoor activities,drink milk before sleep,lights with sleep,rash eczema,loose stool,red tongue,slightly greasy moss.Syndrome of phlegm-heat attacking internally(17.67%):Main disease:sleep dream,sleep rhythm reversed,sleep snoring and mouth opening;Accompanied symptom:plain appetite,picky food,irritable temper,hot hands and feet heart,afraid of heat,combined with upper respiratory tract poor disease history,constipation,stool difficulties,dry stool,bad stool,yellow moss,fine veins.Syndrome of food retention due to spleen deficiency(36.44%):Main disease:turn over sleep,push the quilt,grinding one’s teeth;Accompanied symptom:abnormal movements,poor appetite,heavy breath,epigastric discomfort,abdominal pain,abdominal distension,sweating,black circles of eyes,pruritus,susceptibility,dry stool,red tongue,white thick greasy moss.Syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen(20.07%):Main disease:sleep difficulty,less sleep time;Accompanied symptom:low complexion,sedentary,tepid limbs,fatigue,long indoor,emotional discomfort,less outdoor activities,having a long screen time;tongue vein:light red tongue,thin white moss,slow pulse,thin pulse.Conclusion:Sleep disorders of children are related to gender,age,season,and history of upper respiratory tract infection.Common triggers are bedtime drinking milk.Sleep disorders are often associated with poor appetite,picky food,dry stool and other digestive tract symptoms and energetic hyperactivity,irritable temper and other emotional symptoms appear at the same time.The main evidence of pediatric sleep disorder was 4 types of traditional chinese medicine syndrome included syndrome of food retention due to spleen deficiency(36.44%),splenic deficiency and liver hyperactivity syndrome(25.82%),syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen(20.07%)and syndrome of phlegm-heat attacking internally(17.67%).
