Objective:Observe the clinical symptoms of Ear tube moxibustion on neuropathic tinnitus patients, evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the treatment, and provide reference for clinical treatment. Methods:In our study,61 cases were included according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Divide them into ear tube moxibustion group (treatmeng group) and common acupuncture group (control group) by simple randomized and ingle-blind research methods. The treatment group has 31 cases while control group has 30 cases. Patients in control group receive treatments 1 times per-day,each time for 40 minutes. Each course conclude 10 times,2 for 3 weeks, in the course of 1 day of rest. Patients in control group receive acupuncture treatments. The acupoints include Er men、Ting gong、Ting hui、Yi feng、Shen shu、Zhong zhu、 Zu lin qi and Zu san li. The treatment 1 times a day, each time for 25 minutes, overall 18 times, for 3 weeks. After the treatment, were observed the overall curative effect, the tinnitus disability scale (THI) score and the tinnitus loudness match. Using SPSS 19.0 package statistical analysis method, comparing the treatment group (acupuncture group) ear tubes and the control group (normal acupuncture group) within and between groups of curative effects.Results:1. The ear tubes moxibustion groups:0 cases were cured,1 case had marked effect, effectively and 22 cases,8 no effect, the total effective rate was 74.19% after treatment. Ordinary acupuncture group:0 cases were cured,1 case had marked effect, effectively and 22 cases,7 had no effect, the total effective rate was 76.66% after treatment.Curative effect between the two groups by statistical analysis of no significant difference (P>0.05), two groups of curative effect.2, The treatment group and control group for THI score significantly improved (P<0.05), THI score function, emotional, severity scores were improved significantly, improve the degree of functional, emotional and severity score (P<0.05), tinnitus loudness matching and fidgety assessment level obviously improved (P<0.05).Conclusions:The ear tubesis moxibustion treatment of neurogenic tinnitus is safe, effective. There was no significant difference between acupuncture treatment and moxibustion. Effect of moxibustion is better than acupuncture methods, in terms of convenient operation, the patient acceptation and other advantages. The ear tubesis moxibustion treatment of neurogenic tinnitus is worthy of clinical promotion.
