Risk factors for high included body mass index, hyperplasia of mammary glands, history of abortion, cervical polpys.2 It shown that deficiency, blood stasis, phlegm, dampness were the m ain etiological and pathogenic factors of EP, vacuity-repletion complex p attern was the major syndrome. In the TCM, Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type in 29 cases, took up 33.72%; qi stagnation and blood stasis t ype in 26 cases,30.23%; qi deficiency and blood stasis in 20 cases, acco unting for 23.26%; stagnation of phlegm-dampness and blood stasis type in 11 cases, accounting for 12.79%.3 86 EP patients, the most of the personality was melancholic tempera ment (introversion, emotional instability),32 cases,37.21%; sanguine te mperament(extroversion, emotional stability) to 23 cases,26.74%; choleri c temperament(extroversion, emotional instability) to 17 cases,19.77%; p hlegmatic temperament (introversion, emotional stability) took up 11.63%; the medium was the lowest, accounting for 4.65%. Besides, there was signi finant difference in Neuroticism between EP patients with normal people.4 Based on this survery, Eysenck Personality of the EP patients affec ted the distribution of TCM syndrome. There were signifinant correcolatio n between choleric temperament (extroversion, emotional instability) and qi stagnation and blood stasis (P<0.05), sanguine temperament (extrovers ion, emotional, stability) and Yang deficiency and blood stasis type (P<.0. 05)ConclusionIt can be indicated from this survey that patients with EP in Guangdo ng province most were concentrated in the 30-39 years old. Body mass inde x, hyperplasia of mammary glands, history of abortion, cervical polpys we re its dangerous factors. The TCM syndromes were divided into 4 types mai nly:deficiency of spleen-yang and kidney-yang, qi deficiency and blood s tasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis and stagnation of phlegm-dampness a nd blood stasis, and the first was most. As for the Eysenck Personality o f EP patients, melancholic temperament (introversion, emotional instabili ty) was in the majority. And different Eysenck Personality leads to diffe rent TCM syndrome types.
