Objective:By observing the effects of Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi decoction to incision healing after calcaneal fracture operation, to evaluate its clinical effects and expect to find a new method accelerat the process of wound healing use Chinese medicine. Methods:From June 2014 to June 2015, a total of 86 patients who meet with the accepting criteria and exclusion criteria were participated in our study. All patients were divided into two groups use random number table, according to admission time.44 patients were included in control group,2 patients of this group were diagnosed with diabetes after included in, and 1 patient lose of follow-up during treatment.43 patients were included in experimental group, one patient of this group decided to drop out due to unacceptable the taste of medicine. Finally, there were 82 patients obtained follow-up.41 patients (47 feet) were included in experimental group,41patients(46 feet) in control group. Patients’Gender, age, fracture type, injury degree of soft tissue and the time of injury to surgery were recorded before surgery. All patients were underwent plaster immobilization from 5 to 12 days and lift their limbs to promote swelling subsided. When skin "wrinkled sign" appeared, we use a "L" shaped incision for open reduction and internal fixation. After surgery, conventional anti-inflammatory, dressing change and placebo were received in control group, while the experimental group were given conventional anti-inflammatory, dressing change and took Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi decoction. Operation time, amount of bleeding, incision drying time, incision healing time, level of wound health, wound complications, and Maryland foot function scores 8 months after operative of all patinents’were recorded. Data of both groups were analyzed using statistical software. Results:The gender, age, fracture type, injury degree of soft tissue and the time of injury to surgery of two groups were not significant difference (P> 0.05), comparison of the two groups were comparable. The operative time, amount of bleeding, Maryland foot function scores 8 months after operative of two groups were no significant difference (P> 0.05).The incision drying time of control group was (6.57±1.54) days, and experimental group was (4.94±1.40) days, the difference of two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The average incision healing time of control group was (17.83±3.60) days, and experimental group was (15.70±2.54) days, the difference of two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The fineness rate of wound health level was 63.0% in control group, and 82.9% in experimental group, the difference of two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of wound complications was 17.4% in the control group, while 4.3% in experimental group.Conclssion:Patients who with Calcaneal fracture taking Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi decoction can promote incision healing and reduce wound complications after surgery.
