Analysis The Clinical Effect Between Small Lateral Arc Incision Or The L Shaped Incision Of Calcaneal Fractures

Objective：Analysis the clinical effect between small lateral arc incision or L shapedincision of intra-articular calcaneal fracturesMethod: Choose from the affiliated hospital of Shandong Chinese medicineuniversity during November2010to August2012altogether48examples which use thesmall lateral arc incision and calcaneal lateral L shaped incision of the calcaneal bonefracture, In small lateral arc incision group，there were24cases including18males and6females with an average age of(35．2±8．3)years;According to Sanders classification：6cases were typeⅡ,15were typeⅢ,3were typeⅣ;The time from injury to the operationwas(8．4±2．8)days．In the lateral L-shaped incision group，there were24cases including19males and5females with an average age of(34．4±4．8)years;according to Sandersclassification of fractures：7cases were typeⅡ．15cases were typeⅢ，2cases were typeⅣ；The time from injury to the operation was(9．6±2．1)days．Observing and comparingsome items of the two groups including①operation time，blood loss，incision length，number of graft cases。②VAS pain scores after the first day，③wound healing，④Maryland foot scoring，fracture healing results were comparative analyzed．Results：Two groups of patients were followed up from10to14months with anaverage of11months The operative time the blood loss and number of graft cases werecompared between two groups with no statistically significant differences. The incisionlength were(8.8±2.2)cm in small lateral arc incision group and(14.8±2.0)cm in lateralL-shaped incision group with significant differences．Postoperative VAS pain score at the first day were(2.05土0.92)points in small lateral arc incision group and(3．45±0．81)pointsin lateral L shaped incision group with significant difference．In small lateral arc incisiongroup there was2cases of gradeB woundhealing.and in lateral L-shaped incision group，there were5cases of grade B woundhealing，these patients were healing by protensivetime for change dressings．Conclusion：These two incision of small lateral arc incision and the L-shaped incisionfor treating the intra-articular calcaneal fractures are almost the remedyequivalence．However， small lateral arc incision has advantage of small incision andminimising the operative complications，and fewer wound lengths．is worth on clinicalpromoting.
