?Objective? To explore the incidence of calcaneal varus and the risk factors of calcaneal varus after calcanal fracture repair by traditional lateral approach, and provide a basis for improving the surgical efficacy and postoperative functional recovery of patients with calcaneal fracture reference.?Methods?Retrospectively select 50 patients who were selected for calcaneal fractures hospitalized in Dalian Medical University Hospital to Dalian Friendship Hospita University from September 2017 to September 2019 for traditional lateral approach open reduction and internal fixation. One year later, the lateral radiograph of the calcaneus axis was reviewed to measure the heel Bone varus angle, divided into calcaneus varus group and non-varus group;collect basic data of patients in 2 groups(including patient's gender, age, height, weight,BMI),Sanders fracture classification, preoperative calcaneal medial wall Completeness, intraoperative bone grafting;SPSS23 software was used to process the collected data and single factor logistic analysis and multifactor logistic regression analysis were performed to analyze the risk factors of calcaneus varus.?Results? In this study, the incidence of calcaneal varus was about 34% after traditional lateral approach to repair calcaneal fractures;univariate analysis showed that the incidence of calcaneal varus was not significantly related to gender, age, height, weight and BMI Correlation(P> 0.05);patients with Sanders fracture types of type III and type IV have significant differences compared with type II(P = 0.016,P = 0.001);incidence of calcaneal varus and medial wall of calcaneus There was a significant correlation between integrity and intraoperative bone grafting(P <0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that the incidence of calcaneal varus was significantly correlated with fracture type and integrity of calcaneus medial wall(P <0.05),Patients with Sanders fracture type ? had a significant correlation with type ?(P <0.05),andpatients with fracture type ?ab,?bc,?ac had no significant correlation with type ?(P > 0.05).There was no obvious correlation between the incidence of calcaneal varus and intraoperative bone grafting(P> 0.05).?Conclusion?(1)In this study, the incidence of calcaneus varus after the repair of calcaneal fractures by traditional lateral approach was about 34%.The risk factors for varus were:incomplete inner wall of calcaneus, high fracture type.(2)According to the results of this study,in the treatment of calcaneal fractures, more attention should be paid to the anatomical reduction and internal fixation of patients with high-grade fractures, and the reconstruction of the integrity of the inner wall of patients with incomplete inner wall of the calcaneus is conducive to improving surgery Effect, thereby improving the recovery of postoperative foot function of patients and avoiding the occurrence of long-term complications.
