All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 19.0 software.Result:1.The age of the patients ranged from 44-83 years old,the mean average age was58.91±7.698 years old,the menopausal age ranged from 35-56 years old, the mean average of menopausal age was 48.89±3.60 years old. The mean average of duration between menopausal and onset in benign groups were 10.41±3.41 years while it were 8.32±2.03 years in malignant groups.2.Benign tumor was the majority in our study, the prevalence of malignant tumor was the highest in 50-year-old group and the group of duration of onset less than 5 years, lowest in the group of 70-year-old or above and the group the duration of onset greater than 25 years.3.43.8% of those patient were free of clinical symptoms, the rest underwent abdominal pain, abdominal distension, menopausal irregular vaginal bleeding and abdominal mass,ect.4.Detection rate was lowest in ultrasonic examination and highest in MRI. Markers of CA125,CA199,AFP were higher in malignant tumors.5.56 malignant cases were included in our study,4 received partial mass resection because the widely transcoelomic metastasis in pelvic and abdominal organs and peritoneum,24 patients received staging surgery and three received a second staging surgery,14 of them had cytoreductive surgery, the rest received hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoophorectomy,7 of them refused chemotherapy after the surgery and 4 patients failed in finishing all cycles of the therapy, for those who received all courses, the numbers of patients received different regimens were as following:16 in TC regimen,7 in TP regimen,4 in DC regimen and 1 in BEP regimen.Conclusion:1.Most of the postmenopausal ovarian tumor were benign, the prevalence was the highest in age between 50-59 and in those patient underwent menopause less than 5 years;2.The majority of these tumors were epithelial tumor, then germ cell tumors came next;3.Because the lack of clinical symptoms and specificity, regular gynecological examinations for postmenopausal women are essential, ultrasonic examination is the first choice,as CT and MRI have higher detection rate, which could coordinate with tumor markers to assist the diagnosis;4.The treatments for postmenopausal ovarian tumors shall be individualized according to the fully evaluation, clinical stages, which could result in a better life quality for patients.
