Study On The Correlation Of The Expression Of VEGF And VEGFR-2 In The Phlegm And Blood Stasis In Patients With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal link between Phlegm Hemostatic Prescription and the vascular dysplasia in active rheumatoid arthritis, to probe the relationship among the phlegm and blood stasis points.levels of VEGF and VEGFR-2 and activity of Rheumatiod Arthritis,as well as to discuss the relationship between Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and vascular endothelial hyperplasia.Subjects and Methods:Collecting 29 normal human serum and 58 RA patients who accordanced with the inclusion criteria,and detecting all of their serum VEGF and VEGFR-2 by ELISA.Detecting the content of anti-CCP antibody, RF,CRP and ESR in RA patients,acounting the number of joint swelling and tenderness to calculate the DAS28 points. To explore correlation between the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and the expression of VEGF, VEGFR-2 and the laboratory index of rheumatoid arthritis.Results:Phlegm and blood stasis points 58 cases of RA patients were more than 8.The expression of VEGF and VEGFR-2 in serum of 58 RA patients and 29 normal persons were different.RA patients with phlegm and blood stasis points correlated with the serum VEGF, VEGFR-2,CRP,ESR,the number of joint tenderness and DSA28, the correlation coefficien were 0.026,0.31,0.416,0.308,0.259,respectivly, P<0.05.RA pateins’serum VEGF realated with VEGFR-2,ESR,CRP,the number of joint swelling and tenderness,and DSA28,the correlation coefficient were 0.301,0.414,0.42,0.284,0.4,respectively, P< 0.05.Conclution:In this study, we found that the level of RA patients’serum VEGF and VEGFR-2 were significantly different with control group, and higher than the control group.It indicated that abnormal expression of VEGF and VEGFR-2 may cause a series of pathological changes in RA.The phlegm and blood stasis points and serum VEGF, VEGFR-2 expression correlated positively,which explained that Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome had closely link with vascular endothelial hyperplasia.Research in all randomly selected RA patients’DAS28 score was more than 2.6,and all of their phlegm and blood stasis score was more than 8, indicating that RA patients have varying degrees of syndromes of phlegm and blood stasis, phlegm and blood stasis or a common pathological factors in RA.The phlegm and blood stasis points and the level of RA patients’ serum VEGF associated with inflammatory activity.
