ObjectiveThis research aims at observing the Effects of the Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy with Local and Rotatory Manipulation. To provided a simple, effective clinical treatments for the Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy, and provides the basis of the theory and practice for clinical application. So as to improve the clinical curative effects of the Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy and improve the quality of the patient’s health.MethodsThis study collected 60 outpatients from the Massage department of the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of traditional Chinese medicine and randomlydivide into The two groups after they signed the informed consent, there are thirty outpatients in each group. They had the same relaxation manipulation maneuver. The test group uses the Local and Rotatory Manipulation; the control group uses the Oblique Traction. The patients have twice treatment mei week and three courses of treat. One course of treat needs two weeks. The research uses《The diagnosis of Chinese disease evaluation standard》 issued by the National Ministry of Health to evaluated curative effects, the SF-McGill pain scale (SF-MPQ) and the 20 points questionnaire to evaluate the effects.Results1. The two groups of patients are comparable, statistical analysis showed that they are differences in age, sex and duration, so they had no statistical significance (P>0.05).2. Two groups of patients on the collectivity clinical efficacy compared have statistically significant (P< 0.05), the total effective rate of the test group was 96.7% and 70.0% in the control group, so the two groups of treatment protocols have good curative effect, but the total effective rate of the test group was obviously higher than the control group.3. Compared the two groups of the SF-MPQ after treatment, we can know the PRI and VAS have the statistically significant difference, no statistically significant difference in the PPI, so the two kinds of treatment in reduced pain have no obvious difference.4. Compared the two groups of the 20 points questionnaire after treatment, we can know they have the differences statistically significant (P< 0.05), so the two groups of treatment in improving the patient’s symptoms and functional aspects have obvious difference, and the test group is better than the control group.ConclusionThe Local and Rotatory Manipulation and the Oblique Traction can improve the 20 points questionnaire score and reduce the SF-McGill pain scale (SF-MPQ) score, proved that the two kinds of treatment has good curative effect, can reduce the patient’s pain, improve the patient’s symptoms and function and improve the quality of life of patients. The Local and Rotatory Manipulation is better than the Oblique Traction in the curative effect of cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy, deserves further research and application in the clinical treatment.
