Clinical Research On Chronic Nephritis With Wind Dampness Type Treated By Qu Feng Hua Shi Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical curative efficacy and influences on related laboratory parameters on chronic nephritis which type was wind-damp through the soup of dispelling wind and eliminating dampness( Erigeron breviscapus was the principal drug),which principle of treatment was dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, invigorating the lung and the kidney and combined with conventional western treatment. And then objectively evaluate the comprehensive efficacy of chronic nephritis which type was wind-damp through the soup of dispelling wind and eliminating dampness in TCM,inherit and promote tutor’s experience.Methods:1. 72 cases of patients accorded with the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups based on the single-blind method.2. The method of taking medicine:1) The trial group and the control group were treated by conventional western treatment(lowered blood pressure,or lowered blood lipid,or anti-infected,or anti-coagulated, or induced dieresis to reduce edema, or treated according to symptoms).2)The trial group were treated by combining with the soup of dispelling wind and eliminating dampness on this basis.3)Course of treatment:30 days was a course, there was 4 courses for observation.4) Observe changes before and after treatment on the clinical symptoms and laborary criteria such as general vital signs, routine blood test, liver and renal function,evaluate the safety of taking medicine.5) Matters needing attention: Test research program must be strictly enforced andeach step must be completed on schedule.Results: 1. 72 patients,12 cases were excluded,60 patients were enrolled in the study at last. Two groups of patients are no significant differences in gender,age,course and symptoms such as TCM clinical general information score before treatment(P>0.05). The data was comparable.2. After 3 months of treatment,there was a significant difference in curative effect as the trial group’s total effective rate was 83.33%, while the control group’s was53.67%( P<0.05).3. The trial group’s effects were better in following factors(P<0.05):improving the clinical symptoms such as waist tired and pain, haed ache, body aches, muscle aches,joint pain, foam urine, edema, and the values of laborary criteria such as reduce urinary protein,24-hour urinary protein excretion(P<0.05).4. There were no significant difference in statistics in following factors both groups:the safety signals such as general vital signs( T,P,R,BP), routine blood test(HGB,RBC,WBC,PLT), liver and renal function(ALT,AST,UREA,SCR)(P>0.05).Conclusions: Qu Feng Hua Shi decoction had definite curative effect on wind-damp chronic nephritis and had better effect in improving patient’s symptoms and some laborary criteria such as proteinuria,hematuria,24 hours urinary protein quantitation.
