Purpose: CGN (Chronic Glomerulonephritis) is called Chronic Nephritis for short. Itssymptoms include albuminuria, haematuria, hypertension and hydropsia, with different onsetways. The pathogenetic condition progresses slowly, sometimes with renal hypofunction todifferent extent and finally develops into the chronic renal failure. The discussion of chronicglomerulonephritis mainly representing as the haematuria in TCM is related to the blood urineand turbid urine syndrome. Although with slow progression of pathogenetic condition, the CGhas low recovery rate and high recurrence rate, and easily develops into the renal failure in along run, which draws much attention of doctors and patients.Method: The Kindney-Clearing and Blood-Stanching Decoction is based on the longterm clinical practice and a large amount of medical literatures. The research aims atdiscussing the therapeutic effect and security range of Kindney-Clearing and Blood-StanchingDecoction to treat the CG with main symptoms as haematuria and warm-heat in the lower jiaosyndrome and providing more preonunced theory evidence for study and development of newChinese medicinals.Result: The results of clinical observation showed that the total effective rate oftreatment group and control group is up to84.8%and72.7ï¼…individually, with significantdifference between these two groups.Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of Kindney-Clearing and Blood-Stanching Decoctionto treat the the CG with main symptoms as haematuria and warm-heat in the lower jiaosyndrome is outstanding, and with less side effects and much security.
