Kouchuangqing To Treat Recurrent Oral Ulcer In Syndrome Of Interior Dampness-heat And Fire Excess From Yin Deficiency

Objective: Based on the physiological and pathological features of recurrent oral ulcer, it is found that the formula of Kouchuang Qing is effective in treating recurrent oral ulcers with symptoms like syndrome of interior dampness-heat and fire excess from yin deficiency. This formula of Kouchuang Qing provides a secure and effective method for treatment of recurrent oral ulcer.Methods:The data has been collected from January 2015 to December 2015 in the first affiliated hospital of Yunnan institute of dental and Yunnan college of traditional Chinese medicine clinic. With diagnostic criteria traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, 60 cases of recurrent oral ulcer with syndrome of interior dampness-heat and fire excess from yin deficiency participated in clinical trials.Subjects were divided treatment group(30 cases ulcers in Kouchuang Qing treatment) and controlled group(30 cases ulcers in West medicine of Cydiodine Buccal Tablets therapy), 5 days for a period of treatment,after 2 courses of treatment,follow-up diagnosis of recurrence continues within 3 months. With syndromes of the size, numbers, the degree of pain, congestion, exudation, burning sensation, edema and TCM syndromes of recurrent oral ulcer,and within the relapse cases of three months as the main observation indexes, the curative effect of two groups are compared after treatment, and also evaluated with statistical methods.2Results:1.Given different medicine to treatment groups and controlled groups,symptom scores of main and secondary symptoms before treatment are compared.The results show that symptom scores tend to decrease after medicine has been given.2.Comparing symptom scores of the treatment group and control group after giving different medicine, it is found that curative effect of treatment group is better than the controlled group. 3. After comparing recurrences within three months,the treatment group recurrence rate is significantly lower than the control group. 4. Two groups of patients show no obvious adverse reaction, the safety index before and after treatment had no significant changes, and it shows no statistical significance(P > 0.05). It is found that the formula of Kouchuang Qing is safe in treating in recurrent oral ulcer.
