Observation On The Effect Of Fire-needle Acupuncture Mainly For Recurrent Oral Ulcer Due To Heat Accumulation In Heart And Spleen

ObjectThis study is to observe and evaluate the clinical effect of fire-needle acupuncture on the treatment of recurrent oral ulcer due to heat accumulation in heart and spleen.It is to explore a kind of traditional Chinese medicine therapy with remarkable clinical efficacy,small side effect,high safety and low recurrence rate in the treatment of recurrent oral ulcer,providing reference for the general clinical workers.Methods66 patients were selected In this operation,who confirmed the diagnosis of recurrent oral ulcer due to heat accumulation in heart and spleen in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of TCM.The patient was numbered 1 ~ 66 in the order of treatment according to the doctor order.Patients by single or double number to randomly divided into treatment group and control group,33 cases of each group.The control group received fire-needle acupuncture and body acupuncture treatment.We selected Ashi points and used the fire-needle acupoints to puncture into the ulcer base,chose the Hegu point,Laogong point,Neiting point,Zusanli point for the body acupuncture therapy and retain the needle for 30 minutes.During the retaining,rotating manipulation was required for 2 or 3 times in 1 minute.The course of treatment is 1 week,3 times per week,1 time every other day.In the control group,the compound chlorhexidine collutory was used to gargle for about 2 minutes each time after brushing the teeth in the morning and evening.The treatment as above.Two groups of patients were asked to return visit to the clinic one week after the treatment,and to follow up on their recurrence within 6 months.The visual analogue scale(VAS)and the score scale of symptoms and signs were used to record the changes in the relevant situation before and after treatment.Atlast,we use SPSS24.0 to analyze the data and evaluate the efficacy of local ulcer,symptom score and safety.Result1.Two groups of the patient's general condition(such as gender,age and course of the disease),the type of ulcer before treatment,local damage(such as pain,ulcer area,size)and the TCM score scale of symptoms and signs were examined statistically,but comparability exists between the two groups.2.In curative effect analysis of TCM,after treatment,two groups of patients with symptoms of TCM efficacy evaluation were improved,especially in the treatment group,the total effective rate is 93.9%,while the control group is 75.8%.The curative effect comparison between the two groups have statistical significance(P < 0.05).In terms of symptoms and signs,the scores of symptomatic signs were reduced in both groups after treatment,and it showed a highly statistically significant difference(P < 0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.01).In terms of individual,all the the scores of symptomatic signs were decreased(P < 0.05)in the treatment group after treatment,but in the control group,part of the scores of symptomatic signs cut(P < 0.05)from the previous,and the treatment group therapy effect is more better than the control group,especially in the aspect of general symptoms.3.In curative effect analysis of western medicine,after treatment,the ulcer pain index of the two groups was lower than before,and the average ulcer period was shorter than before,and it showed a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),and the therapeutic effect was better than that of the control group.In the effect of local damage,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.9%,the control group was 81.8%,and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,it showed a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionBoth fire-needle therapy mainly and compound chlorhexidine collutory can effectively treat recurrent oral ulcer due to heat accumulation in heart and spleen.Compared with compound chlorhexidine collutory,in alleviating ulcer pain,promoting healing,shortening average ulcer period,reducing recurrence rate and improving TCM symptoms and signs,the efficacy of fire-needle therapy mainly is more significant.
