BackgroundNursing ability, which directly affects the security and advantage of nursing quality., is the critical reference for designing the training plan, and it is also an important issue for evaluating the effects of nursing education and management. Therefore,we designed this study..ObjectivesBased on different level hospitals, different departments and different grades of clinical nerses, This study was designed to explore the present situation of clinical nursing ability and further explore the correlation between trait coping style and nursing ability as well as the working pressure.Methods1 participants investigated:Choosing the nursing staff with different levels, different departments and different working periods from 3 different level hospitals in Shandong province.2 Investigating methods:The purpose of the investigation were explained by specially trained investigators. And then the study was carried out by anonymous questionnaire survey, and all the questionaire were withdrawn on the spot by the investigators.3 Surveying tool:Nursing Competence Rating Scale (NCRS-6D), Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ), Chinese Nurses Stressor Scale(CNSS).4 Data analysis:Cronbach’s alpha was used for assessing the scale of internal consistency reliability. Likert 7, Likert 5 and Likert 4 level scoring were separately applied for assessing nursing ability, trait coping style and the Chinese nurse job stressors. And scores are converted to hundred score system, namely, final scores= (original score/theory score) X 100. Comparison between qualitative data was analyzed by chi-square test; single factor analysis of variance was applied when normal distribution and homogeneity of variance were achieved. otherwise the non parameter statistics Kruskal-Wallis test. Adjustment of potential confounding factors using multiple linear regression analysis. The relationship between trait coping style and nursing ability, the Chinese nurse job stressors and nursing ability, trait coping style and Chinese nurses working pressure source USES the advantages of linear regression analysis. Potential confounding factors as the regression model of the variables to be adjusted.Results1 Reliability of scale:Cronbach’s alpha coefficient is more than 0.8 for the nursing competence scale and the Chinese nurse job stressors scale, more than 0.7 for ways of positive coping style and more than 0.8 for negative coping style.2 Demographic data:The survey included 953 participants, aged...
