In order to investigate the high quality proteins intake of college students in Yangling Vocational & Technical college as well as the related factors influencing it, find the problems in students’ dietary protein intake. We use the method of questionnaire survey, and a total of1600 students from 10 professions in this school are investigated for the understanding of protein related knowledge and three meals a day intake.Through the way of students by themselves to fill in the questionnaire, the real records have been obtained of students’ understanding of protein nutrition knowledge and five consecutive days of food intake. We pick out 524 questionnaires which are filling out completely by the students from all the questionnaires. Applicating SPSS20.0 to analyze the survey results, we estimated the protein intake of this school students. The conclusions can be summarized as followed:(1) The students have less understanding of protein nutrition knowledge and they have low attention about the knowledge. There are significant differences at the knowledge of protein nutrition by different grades, different gender, and different source places of students.Among the students, sophomore is better than freshman, and girl is better than boy, students from town is better than student from countryside.(2) It the daily per capita total protein intake, freshman is 56.31 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 17.78 g, accounting for 31.58% of the total protein intake; The sophomore is 60.60 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 16.20 g, accounting for 26.73% of the total protein intake. Boy is 65.43 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 18.49 g, accounting for 28.26% of the total protein intake; Girl is 51.42 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 15.47 g, accounting for 30.09% of the total Protein intake. Student from town is 56.74 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 20.83 g, accounting for 36.71% of the total protein intake; Students from countryside is60.03 g, and among them the high quality protein intake is 13.45 g, accounting for 22.41% of the total protein intake. The protein intake of boy in 2013 Chinese residents dietary reference intake of nutrients per capita in daily is 75 g, and the girl is 65 g.Thus, the per capita protein intake of boys in this school meets the country recommended, but the girls’ does not. At the same time, the proportion of high quality protein intake among all the students is low, and their dietary structure is needed to adjust.(3) When the high quality protein intake is higher, the monthly food costs are higher of the students. And the total protein intake has no significant relationship about the monthly food costs of the students. Therefore, Yangling Vocational and technical college students protein intake for students of average per capita protein intake, boys reached the standard, and girls are not up to standard and high quality protein intakes of male and female students generally low.Suggested that students need to adjust the diet structure. Students should be appropriate to eat some meat, eggs and milk, in order to ensure the total protein supplement sufficient, the amount of high quality protein also increased, to ensure own healthy living and learning.
