Along with the rapid growth of the elderly population, family, social, medical and other resources, it is facing increasing pressure. Among the many theories concerning the interpretation of aging mechanisms, the free radical theory of aging has been more widely recognized and researched. Along with aging, the generation of free radicals, the antioxidant defense system features dynamic equilibrium and repair oxidative damage among system functions are gradually destroyed, the accumulation of oxidative stress on the body leads to irreversible damage of aging. While too much fat intake can arise the body’s energy metabolism, produce large amounts of free radicals, leading to the body’s own production and free radical scavenging homeostasis imbalance. The most commonly means used to against free radicals and slowing down aging is exercise. Objective: This study was carried out by aging rats on high-fat diet of different forms of exercise intervention, detecting the cardiac and skeletal muscle of high-fat diet elderly rats, and analyze the actual effect of antioxidant capacity under different forms of exercise intervention on a high-fat diet elderly rats’ cardiac and skeletal muscle. To provide a new theoretical basis for the prevention of the movement of the high-fat diet and to provide a new theoretical basis for the prevention of aging. Methods: In this experiment, 24 two months(SD) healthy male rats for the study were randomly divided into four groups: adult control group(control, C), D- galactose high-diet model group(model, M),D-galactose high-diet model ladder-climbing group(ladder-climbing exercise, L), D- galactose high-diet model swimming group(swimming exercise, S), each of groups had six rats. After the six weeks of D- galactose modeling the three groups of rats start feeding high-fat diet, and according to the plan begin swimming and ladder training. All the rats sacrificed after six weeks exercise, analyze and compare the activity of myocardial and gastrocnemius homogenates and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC), superoxide dismutase(SOD), catalase(CAT) and malondialdehyde(MDA).Results:Myocardial T-AOC level: Compared with M group, S and L group myocardial T-AOC were significantly increased(P<0.01), the highest level of T-AOC is S group, but no statistically significant with L(P>0.05).Gastrocnemius T-AOC level: Compared with M group,S and L group gastrocnemius T-AOC levels were significantly increased(P<0.01), the highest level of T-AOC is L group, and there had significant difference with S(P<0.05).Myocardial SOD level: there is no significant difference among group M, S and L(P> 0.05).Gastrocnemius SOD levels: Compared with M group, there had significantly increased in L group(P<0.01), S group gastrocnemius SOD levels is increased, and there had significant difference with M(P<0.05).Myocardial CAT level: Compared with M group, there had significantly increased in S group(P<0.01), the highest level of cardiac CAT is L group, but there had no statistically difference with S(P>0.05).Gastrocnemius CAT level: Compared with M group, there had significantly increased in group S and L(P<0.01), the highest level of CAT was S group and there had significantly differences with L(P<0.01).Myocardial MDA level: Compared with M group, there had significantly decreased in group S(P<0.01), there had no statistically significant difference among S and L(P>0.05).Gastrocnemius MDA level: Compared with M group, there had significantly decreased in group S and L(P<0.01), in which the lowest is S group, but no significant difference with L group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Compared with the high fat aging rats, the short term swimming exercise can inhibit the weight gain of the aging rats induced by high fat feeding, and increase the ratio of myocardial and gastrocnemius muscle wet weight;2. Compared with the high fat aging rats, the short term climbing exercise can improve the ratio of the wet weight of the myocardium and the gastrocnemius muscle of aging rats;3. Compared with the high fat aging rats, short-term swimming exercise can improve high fat feeding aging rats’ myocardium and gastrocnemius T-AOC, CAT level, reduce myocardium and gastrocnemius MDA level, reduce the content of lipid oxidation damage to the body.4. Compared with the high fat aging rats, the short term ladder-climbing exercise can improve the activity of high-fat dirt elderly rats’ myocardium and gastrocnemius T-AOC and CAT,and the level of SOD in gastrocnemius.Reduce the amount of myocardium and gastrocnemius MDA content, and the damage of the lipid peroxidation to the body.
