The Clinical Curative Effect Observation Of YiXinDingJi Decoction On Ventricular Premature Beat Associate With Coronary Heart Disease (Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Both Qi And Yin)

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of YiXinDingJi decoction on ventricular premature beat (VPB) associate with coronary heart disease (CHD) (syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin)Methods:Choose 60 patients of VPB associate with CHD (syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin) that we treated from inpatient and outpatient department of cardiovascular division in Sichuan province Chinese medicine hospital according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Grouping the 60 patients into two groups, group A(The propafenone group) and group B(The YiXinDingJi group), respectively by randomized controlled clinical trials. Observe the clinical efficacy and safety indicators, including frequency of VPB, classification of VPB, individual syndromes, total curative effect of TCM symptom and safety. Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS17.0.Results:The clinical efficacy of propafenone and YiXinDingJi on VPB associate with CHD was 93.3% and 96.7%, respectively. The frequency of VPB of patients in propafenone group was reduced to (2804.7±3039.4) times a day from (9771.8+ 6085.1) times a day while patients in YiXinDingJi group was reduced to (2621.5+ 2900.8) times a day from (8880.8+4514.6) times a day. The number of Ⅰ, Ⅰ, Ⅲ, IVa cases in propafenone group were changed from 0/16/10/4 to 15/10/4/1 while it was changed from 0/17/9/4 to 5/20/2/3 of the YiXinDingJi group. The efficacy of heart palpitations/chest distress/shortness of breath, weak, dizzy, dry mouth/night sweats,hot, insomnia, expression in propafenone and YiXinDingJi group were 53.3%, 45.8%,52.4%,52.4%,55.6%,46.7%, and 93.3%,95.7%,90.5%,95.8%,84.4%, 86.7%, respectively. The clinical efficacy of TCM of propafenone and YiXinDingJi group was 66.7% and 93.3%, respectively. In addition, there was no influence on heart rate and adverse event was recorded.Conclusion:There was an exact clinical efficacy of YiXinDingJi on VPB associate with CHD (syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin). There was an significant difference of propafenone and YiXinDingJi on clinical efficacy and frequency of VPB between pre-therapy and post-treatment but has no significant difference in two groups. Both propafenone and YiXinDingJi were effectively to improve classification of VPB, individual syndromes and total curative effect of TCM symptom, and YiXinDingJi was precede than propafenone.
