Object25 nursing experts who worked in the field of neurology clinical nursing and nursing management from 12 Class-3, Grade-A hospitals in Jiangsu Province were selected to participate in the study. Method:The initial frame of Evaluation Index System of Nursing Quality of Neurology was established on the basis of literature review, theory analysis and considering the characteristic of neurology clinical nursing. Two rounds expert questionnaire consultations by 25 experts in the field were carried on by the use of the Delphi method for index preliminary screening. And ranking method carried on average assignment on importance of experts was applied to determine the weight of index system. Excel 2003 and SPSS16.0 were used in data analysis. Results:By the two rounds expert questionnaire consultation, three one-class, eight two-class and twenty-one three-class indicators, which included key element quality, key link quality and end result quality were identified. This article also determined the weight and combination weight of indexes via the rate multiply principal method. In this study, recovery percent of two rounds expert consultation were both over 96%, which indicated the experts were well absorbed in. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of experts(group authority index was 0.888) showed good group authority of them.Kendall concordance coefficient and significance test is used to check the experts’ consistency of the indexes. The result showed that there were significant differences in all the 3 indexes(p<0.01), which indicated that experts advice coordination was good and experts’ forecast was based on theoretical basis and practical experience with high reliability. The results of the survey were reliable. Conclusion:1. On the basis of literature review domestic and international and the ‘threedimensional quality structure’ theory, via two rounds Delphi expert consultations, this study primarily established the neurology nursing quality evaluation index system, which included 3 one-class indexes(elements of factor quality, link quality and final quality), 8 two-class indexes and 21 three-class indexes. The weight of 3 one-class indexes from high to low respectively were 0.5000, 0.3542, 0.1458.2. The study is scientific and reliable of the neurology nursing quality evaluation, and it can provide an objective evaluation criterion for neurology nursing quality evaluation and guideline for neurology department nursing practice.
