Background:Abdominal external hernia is one of the most common surgical disease, occurs in inguinal hernia rate is the highest, inguinal hernias can be divided into inguinal hernia and direct hernia. Hernia of abdominal external hernia is the most common, the incidence rate accounted for about 90% of the abdominal external hernia, inguinal hernia or accounted for 95%. Inguinal hernia adult can not heal, surgery is the only cure method. At present there are two main ways: the traditional hernia sac high ligation of the hernia repair and tension free hernia repair. However, the choice of the operation is still in dispute, this article through the analysis of clinical cases, reference domestic and foreign about literature, found that these two kinds of hernia repair can cure adult inguinal hernia, each has its own advantages, but also have their own shortcomings. Objective:Analysis of medical records of patients with inguinal hernia in 131 cases of patients with inguinal hernia who were hospitalized in the Department of general surgery of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical School, the clinical efficacy of traditional repair and tension free repair for inguinal hernia was compared. To provide a basis for the application of tension free hernia repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia. Methods:Retrospective review of 131 cases of inguinal hernia patients with inguinal hernia were collected from to in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihaer Medical School from 2014 to 2011,according to the operation method, 41 cases of the traditional operation group and 90 cases without tension hernia operation group. The operation time, bleeding volume, the maximum body temperature and the time of postoperative hospitalization, postoperative hospitalization time, postoperative bed time, exhaust time and hospitalization expenses of two groups were compared, and postoperative complications: retention of urine, swelling of the scrotum, foreign body sensation, postoperative pain, wound infection, hematoma, and serum swelling, etc. Results:The amount of bleeding in the patients without tension repair was less than that of the traditional operation group, after the operation, the bed time is long, the exhaust time is long, the operation cost is higher than the traditional operation, the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications, such as retention, postoperative pain, pain, swelling of the scrotum, foreign body sensation, wound infection, the highest body temperature and the time of occurrence, hematoma, and serum. The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1 no tension hernia repair surgery in the amount of bleeding, less tissue damage, is conducive to the recovery of the organization.2 patients with tension free hernia repair surgery, early postoperative exhaust time, recovery of gastrointestinal motility, eating early, less nutrition, is conducive to wound healing.3 patients with no tension hernia repair surgery can get out of bed time, reduce the bed time, is conducive to the prevention of certain complications of elderly patients.4 no doubt the incidence of postoperative complications in the hernia repair group was not higher than that of the traditional operation group.5 patients with tension free hernia repair surgery were significantly higher than those of traditional operation. Hospitals must pass a series of measures to reduce the cost of hospitalization, reduce the gap with the traditional hernia repair costs to promote the tension free hernia repair in the clinical application.
