Expression And Significance Of CD44v6 And E-cad In Patients With Gastric Cancer In Hehuang Valley

Objective To investigate the expressions of CD44v6 and E-cad protein in Human gastric cancer tissues in Hehuang Valley, and analyze the correlation between them and the relationship with clinicopathological features of gastric cancer. To study the clinical significance of CD44v6 and E-cad in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. Method With the new happens from hehuang valley of gastric cancer patients(60 cases) as the research object. The expression of protein CD44v6 and E-cad in gastric cancer tissues and corresponding normal tissues adjacent to carcinoma of sixty patients with gastric cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry(SABC); The differential expression of protein CD44v6 and E-cad in the above tissues were detected by Western blot.To analyze the expression of CD44v6 and E-cad in gastric cancer patients and its clinical significance in Hehuang Valley. Results The expression of CD44v6 in gastric cancer was significantly higher than the normal group( χ2=57.98,P=0.001), and the expression of E-cad in gastric cancer was significantly lower than the normal group(χ2=62.28,P=0.002).The difference between gastric cancer tissues and corresponding normal tissues had statistical difference. CD44v6 expression was foud to be statistically associated with tumor differenttiation status(χ2=5.65,P=0.021), TNM stage(χ2=11.97,P=0.002) and lymph node metastasis(χ2=9.20, P=0.004); E-cad expression was foud to be statistically associated with tumor differenttiation status(χ2=4.63, P=0.034), TNM stage(χ2=5.64, P=0.023) and lymph node metastasis(χ2=6.41, P=0.014); The expression of CD44v6 and E-cad were correlation in gastric patients(φ=0.506, P=0.006). Conclusion The high expression of CD44v6 and the low expression of E-cad might participate in the tumorigenesis and development of gastric carcinoma. The research of CD44v6 and E-cad with the pathological features of gastric cancer have a major impact on the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. The expression of CD44v6 and E-cad may play an important synergy in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer in Hehuang Valley.They were negative correlation, and they cooperated with in the development and prognosis of gastric cancer. Both of them can be used as molecular markers to diagnosis and assessment the prognosis of gastric cancer.
