Objective: To measure the expression of serum s E-selectin in patients with polymorphous light eruption and to explore its clinical significance. Methods: We have gathered serum from 30 PLE patients who have been diagnosed and serum from 30 healthy person as normal controls from March 2013 to October 2014 in Qinghai University Affiliated Hospitals. The expression of serum s E-selectin were measured by double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISE) in both PLE patient and normal controls. The severity of PLE was measured by PASI. We did linear regression analysis between the expression of serum s Eselectin and the severity of PLE. Results:(1) The expression level of s E-electin was significantly higher in PLE patients than normal controls(t=2.921,P< 0.01).(2) The expression level of serum s E-selectin was not positively correlated to severity of PLE(r=0.331,P>0.05). Conclusion: s E-selectin may play important role in mechanism of pathopoiesis of PLE, but the severity of PLE and s E-electin is uncorrelated. |
