Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of tacrolimus ointment in the treatment of pleomorphic light eruption.Methods:Eighty-six patients with polymorphous light eruption attending the dermatology of the affiliated hospital of Qinghai University were divided randomly into treatment group A and B.The patients in group A were treated with 0.1% tacrolimus ointment once respectively each morning and evening. In group B,mometasone furoate creamwas administered on the skin once in the evening. After continuous application for 2 weeks, both were reduced to once every 2 days, and then applied for 1 week,3 weeks in total. Two groups were given hydroxychloroquine sulfate orally,0.2g each time and twice a day, reduced to 0.1g each time, twice a day after 1 week, and thenapplied for 3 weeks, which were 4 weeks in totally.Observe the skin lesion morphology before treatment,1,2,4 weeks after treatment respectively, calculate the skin lesion area and inquire about the itching condition;Score by the methods of EASI,the human body injury(burns)method for accurate measurement and VRS,and then record adverse reactions and rebound phenomenon.Follow-up patients 4 weeks to observe the recurrence after the treatment.Compare the clinical total score, effective rate, bounce rate and recurrence rate in 2 groups. Results:The total clinical scores of the two groups in the treatment of 1,2,and 4 weeks were significantly lower than before, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01).After 4 weeks, the effective rate of group A was 88.10%,84.09% of B,without statistically significant(P > 0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred in either group.Six patients in group B rebounded with 13.64%,while the rate was 0 in A,with statistically significant(P < 0.05).One patient in the treatment group A relapsed with the rate of 4.3%;6 cases in group B with 42.9%,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions:Combined with hydroxychloroquine, tacrolimus ointmentis effective in the treatment of pleomorphic light eruption, which has less adverse reactions and slight.Compared with momethasone furoate cream, tacrolimus ointment has similar short-term efficacy, which is not easy to rebound and relapse and can be used as a new option for patients with pleomorphic light eruption.
