The Correlation Of Polymorphous Light Eruption With SICAM-1

Objective: To explore the expression level of sICAM-1 in the serum of PLE patients.And to further discussion the related mechanisms of s ICAM-1 and PLE. Materials and PLEMethods: 30 patients and 30 cases of healthy people were detected in serum of sICAM-1 expression level by ELISA method. Then analysis the correlation between sICAM-1 and the comprehensive score of the disease. Results: 1. The mean values of sICAM-1 in the serum of PLE paitents were(346.5±69.1) ng/ml,which was higher than normal controls with(270±54.5)ng/ml. And this is significantly. 2. PLE patients sICAM 1(ng/ml) in serum level was positively correlated with integrated disease score(r=0.867,P<0.01Conclusions: 1. sICAM-1 in the serum of PLE patients was significantly higher than normal controls. Shows that the increase in the expression of sICAM-1 may participate in the occurrence of diseases and development. 2. The expression level of serum sICAM- 1 can be used to reflect the happening and the severity of PLE, which may be a sensitive index.
