Objective: Through comparing the levels of serum cyclophilin A(Cy PA) among hypertension(EH) patients and normotensive(NT) subjects of Uighurs and Mongolia population in Xinjiang, exploring the correlations between serum cyclophilin A and blood pressure, obesity, blood lipids, plasma glucose, et al. Explore the difference of serum cyclophilin A among subjects of Uighurs and Mongolia population in Xinjiang.Methods:(1)We selected 157(81 EH,76 NT) Uighurs and 160 Mongolia population(83 EH,77 NT). Each group related parameters such as blood pressure, waist circumference(WC), waist-to-hip ratio(WHR), body mass index(BMI), blood lipids, plasma glucose(FPG).and so on were measured. Their blood specimens were collected.(2)The blood levels of cyclophilin A was measured by ELISA.(3) The SPSS17.0 was used. Diffenences between two groups were analyzed using t-test. The Pearson correlation analys is and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis were used in association between cyclophilin A and other parameters. Significance was set at P<0.05.Results:(1) Comparison of baseline characteristics between EH group and NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population: Xinjiang Uighur population had signif icant higher SBP,DBP, WC, WHR, FPG than controls(P<0.05). Xinjiang Uighur population had significant lower HDL-C than controls(P<0.05). Xinjiang Uighur population had higher BMI, TC, TG, LDL-C than controls(P>0.05).(2) Comparison of baseline characteristics between EH group and NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population: Xinjiang Mongolia population had significant higher SBP, DBP, BMI, WHR, TC, TG, LDL-C than controls(P<0.05). Xinjiang Mongolia population had signif icant lower HDL-C than controls(P<0.05). Xinjiang Mongolia population has higher WC, FPG than controls(P>0.05).(3) Comparison of baseline characteristics between EH group in Xinjiang Mongolia population and EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population: EH group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had significant higher SBP, BMI, TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL- C than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P<0.05). EH group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had higher DBP than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population( P>0.05). Xinjiang Mongolia population had significant lower WC, WHR than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P<0.05).Xinjiang Mongolia population had lower FPG than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P>0.05).(4) Comparison of baseline characteristics between NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population and NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population: NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had significant higher HDL-C、LDL-C、FPG than NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P<0.05). NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had higher S BP, DBP, BMI, TC, TG than NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population( P>0.05). NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had lower WC, WHR than NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P>0.05).(5) Comparison of levels of cyclophilin A between EH group and NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population and Mongolia population : The levels of serum cyclophilin A in EH group between Xinjiang Uighur and Mongolia population were signifantly higher than that in NT group(P<0.05). EH group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had signif icant higher cyclophilin A than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P<0.05). NT group in Xinjiang Mongolia population had signif icant higher cyclophilin A than NT group in Xinjiang Uighur population(P<0.05).(6) Pearson correlation analysis indicated the results. In the EH group among the Xinjiang Uighur population, the cyclophilin A level was positively correlated to SBP, DBP, WHR(P<0.05). In the NT group among the Xinjiang Uighur population, the cyclophilin A level was positively correlated to BMI, WHR(P<0.05). In the EH group among the Xinjiang Mongolia population, the cyclophilin A level was positively correlated to SBP, DBP, BMI, WC、WHR, TC, LDL-C(P<0.05). In the NT group among the Xinjiang Mongolia population, the cyclophilin A level was positively correlated to BMI(P>0.05).Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that blood pressure was the important factor of the levels of cyclophilin A between EH groups in Xinjiang Uighur population and Mongolia population.Conclusion :(1) Compared with NT groups between Xinjiang Uighur and Mongolia population, the serum cyclophilin A is significant higher in EH group between Xinjiang Uighur population and Mongolia population, cyclophilin A is positively correlated with blood pressure. It is suggested that cyclophilin A is involved in the occurrence, development of essential hypertension.(2) EH group in Xinjiang Mongolia population has signif icant higher cyclophilin A than EH group in Xinjiang Uighur population.It reveals the difference of serum cyclophilin A among subjects of Uighurs and Mongolia nationality in Xinjiang.
