ObjectiveTo investigate the role of CD147, cyclophilin A (CyPA) and cyclophilin B (CyPB) in the pathogenesis of cutaneous tumour. We examined the expression of CD147, CyPA and CyPB in the lesion from patients with Seborrheic Keratosis(SK), Bowen's Disease(BD) and Squamous Cell Carcinoma(SCC).MethodsApplying immunohistochemistry technique to analyze CD147, CyPA and CyPB expressions in lesion from 20 patients with SK, 20 patients with BD,17 patients with SCC and 15 normal skin specimen.Results1. The expression of CD147,CyPA and CyPB could be examined in the skin from all patients and normal control.2. The was no statistical difference on the expression level of CD147 and CyPB in the skin between SK and normal control (both P > 0.05).The expression level of CyPA in the skin from patients with SK was significantly higher than those in normal control (P < 0.05).3. The expression level of CD147,CyPA and CyPB in the skin lesion from patients with BD was significantly higher than those in normal controls (P < 0.01, P < 0. 05 and P < 0.05).4. The expression level of CD147 and CyPB in the skin lesion from patients with BD was significantly higher than those in SK (P < 0.05, P < 0.05) , The was no statistical difference on the expression level of CyPA in the skin between BD and SK (P>0.05).5.The expression level of CD147,CyPA and CyPB in the skin lesion from patients with SCC was singnificantly higher than that in patients with BD (all P< 0.01).6. The expression level of CD147 was positively correlated with the the expression level of CyPA and CyPB in BD (P < 0. 01, P< 0.05), The expression level of CD147 was positively correlated with the the expression level of CyPA and CyPB in SCC (P < 0.01, P < 0.01).Conclusion1. CD147,CyPA and CyPB might play a key role in the progressionof Bowen's Disease and Squamous Cell Carcinoma.2. CyPA might play a role in the pathogenesis of Seborrheic Keraatosis.
