The Clinical Mechanism Research By Ju Huang Soup Fortreating Phlegm Wet

Objective: This paper discusses the clinical curative effect and functioning mechanism of “Juhuang soup” in the treatment of phlegm wet polycystic ovary syndrome, providing a safe and effective treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: Collected traditional Chinese gynecology clinic diagnosed with PCOS between December 2013 and December 2014 in Henan province, ranging from 16 to 40 years old, among which 35 patients were diagnosed with syndrome of phlegm wet. Juhuang soup was used one dose a day for three consecutive menstrual cycles, with drug withdrawal during the cycle. TCM symptom score, body mass index, sex hormones, insulin resistance index, ovarian size changes and ovulation were observed before and after treatment.Results: ①The clinical symptoms improved significantly and the symptoms score before and after treatment was extremely different(P < 0.01); Overall efficacy: recovered in 1 case after treatment, 4 cases were markedly effective, effective in 20 cases, invalid in 5 cases, total effective rate was 83.3%; ② The body mass index and weight before and after treatment was extremely significant difference(P < 0.01); ③The luteinizing hormone, luteinizing hormone / follicle, serum testosterone and estrogen after treatment was decreased, the significant difference(P < 0.01); FSH, P, PRL after treatment was decreased, the before and after comparison there was no significant difference(P > 0.05); ④ Fasting insulin, insulin resistance index before and after treatment had extremely significant difference(P < 0.01); Fasting blood glucose before and after treatment there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion: ①The “Juhuang soup” can significantly lower body mass index and body weight in patients with phlegm type PCOS, for obesity have improved significantly, so as to effectively prevent the occurrence of complications; ② The “Juhuang soup”can significantly improve the patient’s endocrine disorder condition, reduce T, LH, LH/FSH, and their menstrual cramps to law; ③The “Juhuang soup”can significantly reduce the insulin level and insulin resistance index in patients with diabetes, and inhibit the occurrence and development of metabolic disease;④The function of“Juhuang soup” is spleen dampness, Decoction Tiaojing, can alleviate the clinical symptoms in the treatment of phlegm type PCOS, improve irregular menstruation, ovulation and pregnancy to improve the quality of life of patients.
