| Objective Objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy and related indexes of phlegm type PCOS by using Bushen Jianpi Huatan Decoction and Diane-35 and letrozole,and to summarize the experience for the future treatment of the disease as a reference.Methods Selection phlegmy wet PCOS patients from the Chinese medicine hospital in Hubei Province,all the patients are women in childbearing age.After getting the patient’s informed consent and screening out in 66 cases,the patients are grouped with random number table method.Because 4 cases of loss in the process of treatment cases,So the groups are the kidney and spleen phlegm prescription in the treatment group(n= 35 cases)and western medicine in the control group(n = 27 cases).The drug treatment is 6 months menstrual cycle.The main observation are these improvements which before and 6 months after treatment and 3 months after drug discontinuation.Such as,body mass index(BMI),waist hip ratio(WHR),basal body temperature(BBT),menstrual cycle,polycystic ovary sample change and endometrial thickness,hairy and acne,sex hormone levels,pregnancy,TCM(traditional Chinese medicine)symptoms curative effect of integral,the overall effect,and so on and so forth.Results 1.The differences between the two groups have comparability and no statistical significance(P > 0.05),which are age,duration and menarche age,body mass index(BMI),waist hip ratio(WHR),basal body temperature(BBT),menstrual cycle,ovarian volume and follicular development,endometrial thickness,sex hormone levels,the difference of main symptoms and signs.2.Both groups were effective in reducing BMI,but there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment.After 3 months of discontinuation,there was no rebound in BMI.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the treatment of WHR,but there was no significant difference between the two groups after 3 months of treatment.3.After treatment,the basal body temperature of the two groups had a double phase rate recovery,which was significantly improved compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant,but there was no significant difference between the two groups In the control group,the difference was statistically significant.4.The improvement of the menstrual cycle in the two groups after treatment for 3 cycles increased,and the improvement of the control group was better than that of the treatment group.After 6 cycles of treatment,the difference was not significant between the two groups.After 3 months of treatment Group menstrual regular changes in the number of small,the control group the number of menstrual regular reduction.5.The two groups’ s ovarian volume and number of follicles were reduced,and the endometrial thickness were both increased after treatment.But there was little difference between the groups.After discontinuation,two groups of ovarian volume are small rebound,there was no statistically significant difference;The number of follicles in the treatment group was not significantly increased,and the maintenance was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.6.There are differences between the two groups of their acne score before and after treatment.The acne score improvement of the treatment group was better than the control group.The hairy score was decreased in the treatment group after treatment,however,the control group didn’t change.7.Chinese herbal medicine prescription can achieve the effect of western medicine effect,which can get lower hormone levels(LH,T,LH/FSH).After discontinuation,the stable effect(LH、T)in the treatment group is superior to western medicine in control group.8.The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)can be effectively improved in both of the groups,the symptom score were significantly lower than prior treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The effect of treatment group is better than the control group after treatment,there was no significant difference(P>0.05);After discontinuation,the control group’s TCM have no change,however,the control group’s TCM showed a tendency of increase,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect of treatment group is better than the control group after the drug was stopped,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).9.After 3 months of withdrawal,the overall treatment effect of the two groups can be,Chinese medicine group can achieve the same effect with the Western medicine group,the treatment group was slightly better than the control group.The incidence of adverse reactions(gastrointestinal reactions)in the treatment group was low.Concludes Bushen Jianpi Huatan Decoction and Western medicine control group can improve the symptoms of phlegm-damp polycystic ovary syndrome,establish regular menstrual cycle,but also improve sex hormone levels(reduce T,LH,LH / FSH ratio),reduce BMI,WHR,improve endometrial thickness and ovarian polycystic changes in the effect.In the comprehensive effect,the traditional Chinese medicine Bushen Jianpi Huatan Decong and Western medicine treatment of the disease efficacy is not much difference,but after stopping the normal menstrual cycle and maintain the level of stable and lasting,the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group in the treatment of acne and after stopping The number of follicles and BBT were better than those in the control group.Chinese medicine side treatment group no obvious side effects occur,the traditional Chinese medicine kidney spleen and phlegm of the disease both disease prevention and control,as the PCOS treatment of traditional Chinese medicine conditioning cycle prevention and treatment methods are easy to accept the use of patients. |
