Clinical Efficacy Research And Quality Of Life Evaluation In Treating Qi And Yin Deficiency Type Chronic Heart Failure With Yiqiyangxin Decoction

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and quality of life in treating qi and yin deficiency type chronic heart failure with yiqiyangxin decoction and to explore its mechanism of action.Methods: 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was received western standard treatment of heart failure and the other received western standard treatment of heart failure plus Yiqiyangxin decoction. The treatment cycle was 12 weeks. Two groups were observed in the changes of the cardiac function classification,NT-proBNP in plasma, blood pressure,heart rate,6 minutes walking distance,left ventricular ejection fraction,every cardiac output, TCM syndrome score and Quality of life scores. All data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software.Results:1.In the total cardiac function improvement efficiency, the treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.01). Two groups both reduced the NT-proBNP in plasma,increased 6 minutes walking distance,improved left ventricular ejection fraction and every cardiac output.But the treatment group has more advantages(P<0.01).2. After treatment, two groups’ total score of TCM syndrome decreased effectively, but the treatment group was significantly lower(P<0.01). In the aspect of total efficiency of TCM syndrome and every symptoms, the treatment group was significantly higher(P<0.01).3. Two groups both improved the patients’ quality of life in different degrees, but the treatment group was significantly better.Conclusion: Yiqiyangxin decoction has good effect, which is safe in Clinical application.It also can relieve the clinical symptoms of the patients effectively and improve the life quality level of patients significantly.
