| Objective:To observe the effect of combined perinatal acupressure massage with breast massage on postpartum lactation and breastfeeding, in order to find an effective way to promote lactation and breastfeeding, point to provide a basis for further standardization study on combined acupressure massage with breast massage.Method:A total of 105 pregnant women who built perinatal card and gave birth in Nanjing maternity and child health care hospital since January 2013 to January 2014 were selected in this study. The 105 pregnant cases were randomly divided into three groups, routine group, postpartum group and perinatal group, each group for 35 cases. During the study, we lost 2 cases due to the pregnant women can not cooperate the test,5 cases due to the underweight of newborns,2 cases due to maternal compartment,6 cases due to postpartum hemorrhage greater than 500ml. Finally we got 30 cases of routine group,29 cases of postpartum group,31 cases of perinatal group, and a total of 90 cases completed the clinical trials and were analyzed statistically. Routine group was provided with routine perinatal nursing. Postpartum group was offered acupressure and breast massage in addition to routine perinatal nursing since delivery day to discharge. In perinatal group, the combined massage was conducted since the beginning of pregnancy 37 weeks to discharge. Then compare the start of lactation; milk secretion amount during day 1, day 2 and day 3 postpartum; the rate of breastfeeding and the status of breast tenderness on day 3 postpartum between the three groups.Result:We compared each group with the other two groups. The start of lactation of postpartum group was shorter than that of the routine group (p<0.05), the start of perinatal group was significantly shorter than that of routine group (p<0.01), the start of perinatal group was significantly shorter than that of the postpartum group (p<0.01). On day 1 postpartum, the milk secretion amount of postpartum group was significantly more than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the postpartum group (p<0.01); On day 2 postpartum, the milk secretion amount of postpartum group was significantly more than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the routine group(p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the postpartum group (p<0.01); On day 3 postpartum, the milk secretion amount of postpartum group was significantly more than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the milk secretion amount of perinatal group was significantly more than that of the postpartum group (p<0.01). On day 3 postpartum, the rate of breastfeeding of postpartum group was higher than that of the routine group (p<0.05), the rate of breastfeeding of perinatal group was significantly higher than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the rate of breastfeeding of perinatal group was higher than that of the postpartum group (p<0.05). On day 3 postpartum, the degree of breast tenderness of postpartum group was lower than that of the routine group (p<0.05), the degree of breast tenderness of perinatal group was significantly lower than that of the routine group (p<0.01), the degree of breast tenderness of perinatal group was significantly lower than that of the postpartum group (p<0.01).Conclusion:Combined acupressure massage with breast massage can promote lactation and increase the success rate of breastfeeding. Combined perinatal acupressure massage with breast massage group is better than combined postpartum acupressure massage with breast massage group and is worth to be popularized widely. |
