The Mechanism Research Of Two Flavored Soup On Treating Advanced Menorrhea Of Yin Deficiency And Blood-heat Syndrome

Objective: By observing improved condition of two flavored soup treatment on the Traditional Chinese Medicine clinical syndrome, progesterone, estrogen, prothrombin time, partial activated thromboplastin time and platelet of the patients with Yin deficiency and blood heat menstruation, and comparing it with Zhibai Dihuang Wan, the author tries to prove that two flavored soup treatment is a safe and effective method in treating advanced menstruation of blood heat deficiency.Methods: By using cluster sampling method, 60 cases of patients with Yin deficiency and blood heat menstruation who attended the gynecological clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan College of Chinese Medicine from April 2014 to December 2014. With a completely randomized design, they were divided into two groups: 30 cases of two soup flavored treatment(treatment group) and 30 cases of Zhibai Dihuang Wan treatment(treatment group), and they were observed for 3 menstrual cycles as 3 treatment courses. Then the Chinese medicine symptom, progesterone, estrogen, prothrombin time, partial activated thromboplastin time, platelet before and after therapy were compared and observational data was analyzed by statistical software SPSS17.0.Results: ① A statistical analysis on the age, gender, disease duration, Traditional Chinese medicine clinical symptom baseline data before treatment showed no significant statistical significance(P> 0.05) and indicated the homogeneity and comparability of the wo groups. ② After the treatment, the TCM clinical syndromes such as menstrual cycle, the volume, the color, the quality, five upset hot, dry mouth and throat, dry stool, short yellow urine of both groups were improved, especially those of the two flavored soup treatment group changed obviously. Statistical analysis showed the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), proving that both the two flavored soup treatment and Zhibai Dihuang Wan treatment can improve the TCM clinical syndromes of the patients with yin deficiency and blood heat early menstruation, but the two soup flavored treatment is more effective.③ After therapy, the progesterone, estrogen, prothrombin time, partial activated thromboplastin time and platelet index of the two flavored soup treatment group were better promoted than those of Zhibai Dihuang Wan group. Statistical analysis showed the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05), testifying that both the coagulation and luteal function of the patients with early menstruation were increased after the two flavored soup treatment ④ safety testing: all the patients of the 2 groups completed the experiment with no adverse events or adverse reactions happened to them.Conclusion: Two flavored soup can significantly improve the clinical symptoms(the volume, the color, the quality, five upset hot, dry mouth and throat, dry stool, short yellow urine) of the patients with early menstruation of yin deficiency and blood heat, such as it can increase the platelet count, shorten the prothrombin time, activate partial thromboplastin time, improve luteal function and regulate the hypothalamic- pituitary- ovarian axis, moreover, it’s safe and free of toxic side effects.
