Objective:To observe the clinical effects as well as the quality of life and the security-associated indicators of using Xiang Sha Six jun soup flavored to treat colon cancer after its postoperative chemotherapy, which can offer some objective、scientific basis for evaluating the related symptoms ofinsufficiency of spleen-qi and stomach-qi after CRC’s postoperative chemotherapy.Methods: To divide forty patients who are in deficiency of Spleen and Stomach Qi after the postoperative chemotherapy of colon cancer into two parts at random: 20 treatment groups and 23 matched groups.As for the treatment group, we use Xiang Sha Six jun soup flavored TID by taking decocted with water. Meanwhile, as for the matched group, we’d like to use Buzhongyiqi Pills TID. One treatment course includes fourteen days for these two groups. We’d like to assess the effect of treatment as well as the quality of life according to the clinical bedside integral transformation once the first treatment course ends. In addition, we’d like to evaluate its curative effect by using statistical approaches.Result:1.The general effective rate of the treatment group is 90% while the matched group’s 55%. The two groups have statistical significances(P<0.05), which means the treatment group has more priority over the matched group.2.There are statistical significances(P<0.05) between the treatment group and matched group when taking the KPS assessment for these two group.The treatment group has more priority over the matched group.3.To compare the symptoms of chinese medicine, these two groups have statistical significances(P<0.05),which means the treatment group wins more priority over the matched group.4.The security index of these two groups has no serious adverse reactions during the observation period.Conclusion: Xiang Sha Six jun soup flavored has the function of replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen as well as supporting healthy energy. What’s more, it also can alleviate the toxic side effects of the chemotherapy.Additionally, it also can improve the living standard and control the recurrence and metastasis of tumor.
