| ObjectiveBy studying the effect of Tuina combining with rehabilitation medicine for urinary incontinence after stroke, using UICSI,MBI,FIM to measure the effectiveness of the treatment,to discuss further the mechanism of this treatment for urinary incontinence after stroke, providing new direction for clinical treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke and laying the foundation for further generalization of this treatment. MethodRandomly dividing all the patients that satisfied the inclusion criteria for clinical trial into two groups that both have 24 patients:the study group and the control group. The study group is treated with tuina combined with RM,the control group is treated with only RM.Before the treatment, the patients in each group have no significant difference(P>0.05) in age, sex, course and UICSI,so that these two groups are comparable.Using UICSI,MBI,FIM to evaluate the treatment effect of Tuina and Biofeedback Therapy for urinary incontinence after stroke. ResultsBefore the treatment, the two groups have no statistical significance in UICSI which indicates that the two groups are comparable. After treatment,intra-group comparison has statistical difference(P<0.05) which shows significant curative effect for both group in ameliorate the symptoms of urinary incontinence after stroke. The inter-group comparison after treatment has statistical difference(P<0.05) which indicates the curative effect of the study group is better than the control group. Before the treatment, the two groups have no statistical significance in MBI,which measure the function of urinary bladder, indicates that two groups are comparable. After treatment,intra-group comparison has statistical difference(P<0.05) which shows significant curative effect for both group in ameliorate the function of urinary bladder. The inter-group comparison after treatment has statistical difference(P<0.05) which indicates the curative effect of the study group is better than the control group. Before the treatment, the two groups have no statistical significance in FIM,which measure the ability of controlling urinary bladder, indicates that the two groups are comparable. After treatment, intra-group comparison has statistical difference(P<0.05) which shows significant curative effect for both group in increasing the ability of controlling the urinary bladder. The inter-group comparison after treatment has statistical difference(P<0.05) which indicates the curative effect of the study group is better than the control group. Both of the two treatments are effective in ameliorate urinary incontinence after stroke, the total efficiency of study group is 91.67% compared with control group which has 79.17% efficiency. After statistical analysis, the two groups have significant difference(P<0,05),proves a better curative effect of study group. ConclusionThe study results show that, after treatment, patients in both group get improved in the clinical syndrome, the function of urinary bladder, the ability of controlling urinary bladder, and the study group gets more improvements than the control group.Meanwhile this study combines Tuina treatment with modern rehabilitation theory and technology, explaining the fundamental principle of Tuina and rehabilitation therapy in treating urinary incontinence after stroke both in TCM theory and modern medicine theory, which makes up the deficiency of lacking of assessment in TCM for treating urinary incontinence after stroke.Furthermore, normalizing the position, pressure, direction and frequency in Tuina treatment throughout the treating process.Tuina treatment combined with rehabilitation treatment as a safe and effective treatment, has significant effect for urinary incontinence after stroke, also well accepted by the patients and the patients’ family,is worthwhile to use and promote in clinical treatment. |
