Experimental Study Of Thunder Fire Moxibustion On Baihui Acupoint And Anterior Oblique Line Of Vertex-temporal In The Treatment Of Acute Cerebral Infarction

Destination:Cerebral infarction is due to a variety of factors that cause cerebral vascular occlusion, so that the brain tissue become lack of blood and come to death, then lead to neural function defect of the corresponding region. Because of the severe disabling or lethal, and the increasing incidence rate year by year with the increase of age,it has been the problem that the clinicians are struggling to overcome. This experiment adopts the thunder fire moxibustion combined with acupuncture in treating acute cerebral infarction, in order to observe the recovery of neural function in patients with cerebral infarction.Destination:To Observe that whether thunder fire moxibustion on Baihui acupoint and anterior oblique line of vertex-temporal can improve the curative effect in treatment of acute cerebral infarction.Mean:We choose 80 patients of acute cerebral infarction hospitalized in Department of encephalopathy of Nanjing Institute of traditional Chinese medicine, and divide them into two groups of 40 cases. The control group uses routine acupuncture and basic Western medical treatment, while the experimental group combined with thunder fire moxibustion on Baihui acupoint and anterior oblique line of vertex-temporal on the base of conventional acupuncture and western medicine treatment. The specific operation as follows:Selected Baihui, upper and lower limbs and head on the anterior oblique line of vertex-temporal as the treatment site.Every treatment site should be pressed 7 times,and each press continues 5 s from the patient starts to feel hot pain or frown.All of these should be operated once a day. After 2 weeks, we make evaluation on restoration of the two groups from neurological deficit and ability of daily life.Results:The group of thunder fire moxibustion on Baihui acupoint and anterior oblique line of vertex-temporal did not show obvious advantages compared with the group of ordinary acupuncture plus basic treatment.Conclusion:(1) From the recovery situation about the defect of nerve function and self-care ability, there is no significant difference between the two sets of results; (2) During the experiment process the improvement of the symptoms like dizziness, uncontrolled-crying, mind-unawakeness can be really observed in the experimental groups; (3) For the patients with the excessive and heat syndromes, thunder fire moxibustion had not shown obvious side reaction which indicates that thunder fire moxibustion can be used for the treatment of real heat syndrome...
