The Clinical Research Of Thunder-Fire Moxibustion And Chinese Herbs For The Chloasma Patients

Chloasma is a common hyperpigmentation disease on the face.Through the comparison with the western medicine group,which contain the statistical data such as size,chromaticity,levels of the hormones,and the scores of DLQI,to explore the effect of Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs for the chloasma patients.Methods In this research,there were 60 chloasma patients,then patients were randomly divided into two groups by stochastic methods.In the control group,the patient treated by Vitamin C,200 mg tid,Vitamin E,100 mg tid,and Hydroquinone cream in the morning and the evening,one course of treatment consists of four weeks.the observation group treated by Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs,every three time for a week,and one course of treatment consists of four weeks.After two course of treatment,compared the three observation index,which contain the scores of skin lesions,the scores of DLQI,and the levels of estrogen and progestin,compared with the relevant statistical data,the clinical effects were obserbed and analysed.Results1 before the treatment,the score of the the area and chromaticity of chloasmas were compared,and there was no statistics difference statistics(P>0.05).after two course of treatment,the size of chloasmas was decreased in both group(P<0.01).and the observation group was sharply decreased.and after two course of treatment the chromaticity of chloasmas were also decreased,and the group which used the Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs method obviously abated facial blemishes(P<0.01).this data revealed that the observation group which used the Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs method could greatly improve chloasmas.2 There was no significant different in the scores of DLQI before the treatment of the two group(P>0.05),after 2 course of different treatment,the scores of the DLQI reduced to some extent,and the control group was 8.58±1.46,while the observation group was 4.26±1.33,and the observation group were significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).which indicated that the observation group which used the Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs method could greatly improve the quality of life with chloasmas patients.3 before the treatment,the score of the the area and chromaticity of chloasmas were compared,and there was no statistics difference statistics(P>0.05).After 2 course of different treatment,the levels of hormones were changed.The levels of estrogen were decreased,but The statistics in the control group had no significant difference before and after treatment(P>0.05),and the observation group significantly decreased(P<0.01).the levels of progestin were increased after treatment.but The statistics in the control group had no significant difference before and after treatment(P>0.05),and the observation group significantly increased(P<0.01).The data between the control group and observation group had significant difference(P<0.01).which indicated that the observation group which used the Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs method could greatly decrease the levels of estrogen and improve levels of progestin with chloasmas patients.4 After two course of treatment,30 cases in the control group,and recovery2 cases,and 7 patients had apparent results,11 had effecdtive results and7 had no effects.the index of the clinical effect was collected.while the observation group recovery 5 cases,and 17 patients had apparent results,6had effecdtive results and 2 had no effects.the curative rate of the group which treated by Vitamin C ?Vitamin E,and Hydroquinone cream was 30.00%,the curative rate of the group which treated by Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs was 73.33%,the date with significant different(P<0.05).the method that combined with Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs had been proved effective and without side effects.Conclusion In this study,the method that combined with Thunder-fire moxibustion and Chinese herbs was used for chloasmas patients.The Thunder-fire moxibustion method belonged to external treatment which could dredges the channels and collaterals,and accordin to the modern theory.the Thunder-fire moxibustion could improve local blood circulation,regulat the local ecosystem.the TCM herbal belonged to internal treatment which could harmonize the function of liver\spleen\kidesys,send up the Qing-yang,improve the complexion and protect the skin of the chloasma patients.and according to the modern pharmacological studies,this herbs contain anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-aging elements.this method had good clinical efficacy,worthy of clinical popularization and application.
