Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy after acupuncture treatment of Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting"on PostherPetic Neuralgia (PHN); According to the change of serum 5-HT before and after the treatment, to investigate the possible therapeutic mechanism of Acupuncture Treatment of Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting " in treating PHN.Methods:60 cases of PHN patients met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group,a control group and a drug group,20 cases in each group, group A was set up for the treatment group, using the Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting" acupuncture therapy; group B as the control group using conventional acupuncture therapy; group C as drug group, using oral gabapentin Western medicine. In the pre-treatment, the baselines (including gender, age, duration) were compared, to determine whether comparable.2 weeks for a course of treatment, after two courses’to observe the treatment effect. Observe the visual analog scale (VAS), McGill pain score table, Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) assessment results and serum 5-HT before and after the treatment,content of the test results, Referring to the appropriate Evaluation criteria for efficacy assessment.Results:1. In the clinical improvement of symptoms pain, depression, sleep disorders, three groups at baseline were comparable (P> 0.05); VAS, McGill pain, SDS, compare PSQI scores were significant differences after treatment(P<0.05), group A was better than group B and group C.2.Group A with group B, group C, the total efficiency were 95% and 85%,73.7%, markedly effective rate was 80%,55%,26.3%; Group A and B are superior to group C in efficiency (P<0.05), group A had no significant difference with group B (P> 0.05); group A was better than group B in markedly effective rate (P<0.05).3. The serum 5-HT of three groups was relatively comparable (P> 0.05), and were significantly higher than in healthy volunteers, the difference was statistically significant (P O.01). The serum 5-HT of group A was significantly lower than group B and C after treatment (P<0.05).4. During the test, the drug group had one case of combined use of other drug treatment, excluding testing. Safety evaluation showed that this experimental study and no adverse events.Conclusion:1. Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting" acupuncture therapy in treating PHN can significantly improves the clinical symptoms of pain, depression, sleep disorders, etc., better than the control group, drug group;2. Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting" acupuncture therapy is a safe and effective method on the treatment of PHN; the overall effect is superior to conventional acupuncture and oral medication3. Sheng’s "Remove blood stasis and Righting" acupuncture therapy in treating PHN can reduce the body’s serum 5-HT content, and thus relieve pain symptoms. |
