ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effects and the stability of blood glucose on treating type2diabetes patients by selecting belly acupoints to regulate water metabolism.Methods97patients with T2DM were randomly divided into treatment group(50cases) and control group(47cases). The treatment group received acupuncture at belly acupoints according to Sanjiao theory, while the control group received acupuncture at Yishu, Taiyuan, Pishu and Taixi. Each group received4weeks of continuous treatment and follow-up observation after8weeks. The evaluation scores of diabetes symptoms and the changes of glycosylated hemoglobin value before and after the treatment in each group were observed.ResultsAccording to the evaluation scores of diabetes symptoms, the total efficiency of the treatment group was92%, in the control group, the total efficiency was63.8%. The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group.ConclusionsThe treatment on diabetes patients by regulating water metabolism could help reduce glycated hemoglobin and improve the symptoms of diabetes. |
