Objective:observe the central nerve influence while applying electropuncture on Dazhui, Baihui acupoints of DU meridians and bilateral Jiaji acupoints of neck which acts on patients suffer from myospasm after apoplexia. In addition, we observe the difference of activation pattern of information of central nervous due to electropuncture between the patients and normal persons. We hope the works could contribute to the explanation of therapeutic effect of acupuncture.Methods:Employ16patients and15normal normal persons which accord with the experimental conditions.Apply the experimental paradigm of block design. The task is that puncture DaZhui, BaiHui acupoints belongs to DU meridian and JiaJi acupoints by sliver needles which link to electric acupuncture apparatus. Simultaneously, we scan the subjects’brain by functional magnetic resonance. The scanning data is processed and analysed by MatLab software, then transform the MNI coordinate we got to Talairach coordinate, after that, the anatomical locations include the regions of cerebral cortex.Result:The patients group:Stimulate the selected acupoints of Du meridian and JiaJi acupoints mainly activated the Precentral, the SupraMarginal, the Inferior Parietal Lobule and Supplementary motor area(SMA). The normal group:Stimulate the selected acupoints of Du meridian and JiaJi acupoints mainly activated the Hippocampus, ParaHippocampal Temporal_Mid and Temporal_Sup.Conclusion:we have preliminarily demonstrated that stimulate DaZhui, BaiHui and JiaJi acupoints of traditional Chinese medicine could widely activate the cortex relate to motion, include the Precentral, the SupraMarginal, the Inferior Parietal Lobule and Supplementary motor area(SMA).That gave a preliminary explanation about that dredging DU meridian to ease the limb dysfunction due to myospasm through visualized central nerve information.Because of the difference between the physiological and pathological condition, stimulate Dazhui, Baihui acupoints of DU meridians and bilateral Jiaji acupoints of neck could evoke different activation regions of central nervous respectively. This phenomenon prompt that the acupuncture regulates the function of organs and tissues according to the different condition of human body, which is likely to be the mechanism in central nervous level of the truth that the same acupoints could treat various diseases...
