| Objective:To investigate the outcome of patients with sudden low-tone sensorineural hearing loss. Methods:We made a retrospective analysis of the data of patients hospitalized with sudden low-tone sensorineural hearing loss from the database of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine between January2012and October2013to analyse the outcome. Results:In the22cases, the gender distribution is1:1.44, and the average age is43.95±14.34years. The average auditory threshold after therapy is significantly lower than it before the therapy (P<0.05). The total effective rate was86.4%, including the clinical cure rate50.0%, the significant effective rate50.0%, the effective rate13.6%and the ineffective rate13.6%. Conclusion:Patients with sudden low-tone sensorineural hearing loss are clinically characterized by tinnitus, hearing loss and ear fullness. Sudden low-tone sensorineural hearing loss has a relatively good prognosis. |
