Objective:To explore the clinical features of recurrent acute low-tone sensorineural hearing loss. Methods : Collect all the patients with recurrent acute low-tone sensorineural hearing loss treated in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from August 2013 to August 2018,and the basic clinicaldata, auxiliary examinations and treatment effects were retrospectively analyzed. Results :(1)Basic clinicaldata: Among the 27 cases,7 were male(25.93%)and 20 were female(74.07%).26(96.30%)cases are unilateral, only 1 case has bilateral involvement. The age of the first attack was 31.3 ± 8.03 years. The total effective rate of first treatment was 78.57%.The time of the first visit was 11.4 ± 14.69 days, and 5.15 ± 6.18 days at the time of relapse, the difference was statistically significant(t = 2.150,P<0.05).(2)Auxiliary examination: Low-frequency extraction rate of distortion product otoacoustic emissions(DPOAE)was 60%(6/10)at thefirst attack, and the low-frequency extraction rate at relapse is 44.44%(4/9).(3)The average hearing threshold of pure tone audiometry before treatment was 43.13 ± 10.11 dB HL at the first attack,37.78 ± 9.21 dB HL at the time of relapse. The difference between the two treatment effects is statistically significant. Conclusion : RALHL is more common in young women, and the incidence is mostly unilateral. As the number of illnesses increases, the degree of damage to the outer hair cells increases and the treatment effect decreases.Early treatment is beneficial to patients' hearing recovery. Therefore,it is necessary to actively educate the patients and let patients receive treatment as soon as possible.
