Clinical Research Of Needle Knife Release For The Treatment Of Piriformis Syndrome

Objective: To observe the needle knife treatment of piriformis syndrome patient invisual analogue scale (VAS), oswestry dysfunction affect the index, in contrast withmassage therapy, by evaluating the efficacy of the therapy piriformis syndrome, to explorethe safe and efficient, simple, repeatable optimize treatment regimens, improved clinicalefficacy and their living standards.Methods: According to the principles of randomly, the60piriformis syndromepatients that meet the inclusion criteria divided into a treatment group and a control group,30cases in each. The treatment group received regular needle knife treatment, the controlgroup use routine treatment of massage therapy. Compare and analyze two groups ofpatients before and after treatment visual analog score (VAS), oswestry Disability Index,and statistical analysis, whether there is statistical significance.Results: After treatment, the two groups visual analogue scale (VAS), OswestryDisability Index compared with former were significantly different (P <0.05); Aftertreatment, the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference wasstatistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: Both the needle knife therapy treatment group and the massage therapycontrol group can improve the clinical symptoms and physical signs, alleviate or eliminatethe patient’s pain and improve the quality of life for patients, but the effect is moreprominent in the treatment group.
