Objective: Through the55patients undergoing routinebreast abscess incision and evaluate clinical data to explorethe VSD clinical value for the treatment of breast abscess. Methods: The study collected our department in April2012-April2014period, due to the cases of55patients of breastabscess incision and drainage of abscess as research subjects, depending on the postoperative drainage way into the studygroup (VSD group)29patients in the control group (Normal VACgroup)26cases. The postoperative catheter drainage, postoperative total drainage volume, after two days beforedrainage, number of dressing changes, wound healing time, postoperative wound healing rate Class, abscess recurrencerate within one year of the two groups of patients and otherclinical data were analyzed retrospectively. Using statisticalsoftware SPSS21.0for data processing, measurement data usingt test, count data using X2test, when P <0.05, the view thatthe results of the two methods of measuring the difference wasstatistically significant. Results: Study group(VSD group)after the number dressing, wound healing time and recurrence than the control group; twodays before the study group after drainage, postoperative wound healing rate was higher grade. The difference was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05).Conelusion:As the use of VSD breast abscess drainagedevice surgery, can reduce the number of postoperative dressing, wound healing time shortened patients, reduce recurrence ratewithin one year after the abscess; increase after two days priorto drainage, improving healing rate cut grade. But it requiresspecial equipment support, higher medical costs and difficultclinical popularization. In summary, the VSD can be applied asappropriate to the specific patient condition.
