Clinical Study Of Bai Jiang Xiao Long Decoction In The Treatment Of Chronic Prostatitis

Objective: The subject is for the purpose of through clinical research, to evaluate theeffectiveness and safety of Bai Jiang Xiao Long Decoction in the treatment of ChronicProstatitis, and explore the mechanism of this Decoction in the treatment of ChronicProstatitis, provide safe and effective scheme for the clinical treatment of ChronicProstatitis.Methods: Select60patients with Chronic Prostatitis diagnosis standard, and randomlydivided into experimental group and control group,30cases each group. Bai Jiang XiaoLong Decoction was used in the experimental group patients, Long Qing Pian was used inthe control group patients, two groups were treated for3months. Changes of the twogroups were observed in patients with clinical symptoms, signs, symptom of ChronicProstatitis, prostatic fluid white blood cell count, blood routine, urine routine, stool routine,electrocardiogram, liver function, renal function.Results: After3months of treatment, most of clinical symptoms of chronic prostatitis patientswere significantly improved by Bai Jiang Xiao Long Decoction, the quality of life of theexperimental group patients was significantly increased, the chronic prostatitis symptomscores of the experimental group patients were significantly reduced(P<0.01), prostaticfluid white blood cell counts were decreased significantly (P<0.01), more than90%of theexperimental group patients with prostate palpate the symptoms were different degrees ofimprovement, the clinical efficacy indexes of experimental group was better than controlgroup. The experimental group had no adverse symptoms, signs in the course of study, alsodid not appear blood routine, urine routine, liver function, renal function and otherabnormal laboratory results.Conclusion: Bai Jiang Xiao Long Decoction could significantly improve the clinicalsymptoms and signs of Chronic Prostatitis patients, improve the quality of life of patients, clinical application and adverse reaction was not found. It is a safe, effective prescriptionin treating Chronic Prostatitis syndrome of damp heat and blood stasis toxin type, is worththe clinical promotion.
